Irregular light schedule stress

Im just starting my 1st grow,with White Fire,Mental Floss and Sweetest Cindy.I have my 1 week old seedlings on a 18-6 light schedule.Today I left the lights on for 3 hours during the dark cycle so I could do some work in the room.My question is: can me leaving the lights on during the dark cycle on my 1 week old seedlings,cause them to hermie when I flower them out.Also Should I continue to keep them on a 18-6,or change them to a 21-3,since thats what schedule I had them on today.I really need some input.Its my 1st grow and I really dont want to fuck these plants up.Thanks

Kenny, as far as I know it shouldn't matter. Until the plants are sexually mature(axillary buds will start alternating instead of being parallel on the stem) you've more wiggle room. You won't see any hermie issues later because of light problems now. I think much of the forum freaks over "hermies" too much though. They get people overly worried and then it snowballs as others worry.

If heat isn't an issue, just keep your lights on 24/7 the plants will grow faster anyway.

I would go with the 18/6. Some stress is okay, but you don't want to stress the plants out any more.

You learned the lesson, but you're on the right track now...
