Iponic wired to relays

Once upon a time I saw some pictures in a thread if someone who wired an iponic to relays to control lights as opposed to trigger cords. I searched high and low for the thread with no luck, any one recall? I feel like it may have been in a thread of people showing off quality wiring work

Thanks for any help

The iponic has flange mount relays, I wouldn't switch any loads with these that are inductive or over about 5A. You can make a seperate enclosure with better relays and contactors to control everything from all the ballasts to the ac unit, build it into an enclosure and loadcenter with breakers combo and you'd have a sweet control unit. I could build you anything you want or maybe give you some pointers how to build yourself. If you know an electrician he can do it as well.

Licensed commercial electrician is already on site and will be completing the work, I just don't know the lingo to explain how I want 3 of outlets on the iponic to control 3 rows of lights, probably 50a, via relays, similar to how most lighting controllers work but built to code as it will be inspected upon completion. The guys on top of his shit but whenever I explain this particular thing he always gives me this look like I'm off a little. Thanks for any help, much appreciated

It's pretty simple, if he's a licensed electrician he should know exactly what you need and wire it up to code.
