iPad + Icmag: painful to view due to animated gifs

Love this forum. All websites besides this one are very fast on the iPad. I believe its due to the 100's of animated gifs on each page. Any way we can get an option to turn some or all of those off? Thank you!

might be the best way, there are lots of cool non animated gif sigs though, oh well

Turning off signatures would help a little, but if you look at ICMAG is a much bigger problem. I don't mind the ADDS at all. But every single forum category is animated. All the smileys are animated. Everything is animated!

krunchbubble's was one of the worst, any time i'd load a page with his animated gif in the sig everything would slow down, if i needed to scroll it'd take up to 10 seconds to actually do it, 2.4ghhz intel core 2 duo w/4gb ram here lol

anyways, google chrome has a beta of adblock plus, i installed that and blocked his image, bam everything is so much quicker now
