Interrupted vs continuous light cycles: Which is best for preventing early flowers?

So I have a few trays of regular seedings that I mistakenly had under 24/0 for the 1st 5-8 weeks of their life. A week ago I dropped them down to 18/6. They are in a small room under t-5s. I have the window open at night and day so they are getting used to the outside temperature. Some have already sexed, some have not. They have 3-6 nodes and are about 10 - 30cm tall. They are mostly f1 hybrids being a mix of indica dominant indica/sativa mixes. I also have a few stabilized strains being early strains (hashberry and sensi star). I also have some almost three month old early girls of which only one has sexed (???).
I want to move them out to the greenhouse and put them under some supplemental lighting and start potting them up. It would be 45w cfls, one for every 4 square feet. I will be transplanting them into bigger pots and hitting them will grow nutes when I make the transfer from indoor to greenhouse, and the same when they go into holes. When they go into big holes, no more supplemental lighting will be used.

My question is should I go for an extended light cycle that gradually drops down to 16/8 or 15.5/8.5 OR an interrupted light cycle (I read in another thread to do 14/4/2/4) until I plant in big holes in the ground sometime around the last week of may (so they would spend a month in the greenhouse). Im at 40.1 and on may 22th ill have 14.5 of light from sunup to sun down, with another hour for dawn and dusk (so 15.5).

Any advice on my light schedule and other tips for preventing early flowers? I have read the pertinent threads on this forum.

thanks in advance :tiphat: (also pls accept my appologies for posting the same general question in others threads, they went unanswered so I thought It would be best to start my own thread so as to not pirate others).

I doubt you need to have seeds under supplemental.

If you do use it, though, I don't believe you need to keep it on so long: make your daylength whatever you want, then just have the lights come on for 1-15 minutes (depending on your timer).

That should interrupt the accumulation of flowering hormone, and it's how I'm keeping clones in veg: basically 16/8 with 15 minutes of light in the middle of the night.

I am going to use the interrupted light schedule b/c about 30 % of the seedlings have sexed, thus sexual maturity and im only getting 13.6 right now so im afraid that they will notice such a huge difference. NEXT YEAR i'm only going to have them underlights for 2-3 weeks and ill make it 15/9 or something like that and start in march.
