Long time no see... I have something interesting and promising to present. It's an F1 hybrid based on Blazer (which is Blue Streak backcrossed to an unknown strain from Azerbaijan to create an autoflowering cross). The Blazer has then been bred with a cross of a SGS Pinksalad and a mystery plant to create this F1 Hybrid that the pictures show.
The mystery plant is a La Musa from Delicious seeds that has been crossed with an unknown strain from western Canada to create a true autoflowerer (is that even a word!!!???). The mystery plant has then been crossed with a SGS Pinksalad to create F1 seeds (which are something like Pinksalad x Mystery plant) So I guess this plant is something like Blazer x [SGS Pinksalad x (La musa x unknown stabilized hybrid)]. I am no pro so don't yell at me for being wrong about trying to explain all this
Anyways, this mystery plant cross was really branchy, the Blazer had huge fat leaves and potency and the Pinksalad had colour and flavour. So why not just play "Dr Jekyll"?
The plant pictured had the huge palmsized fat indica leaves from the Blazer in the early stages (the plant grew lots of fat leaves so in the pictures they are all removed) and was branching out a lot like the mystery plant and the later on showed some of the colour from the Pinksalad so it is a combo with all the "cool" traits from the ancestors! I have only grown out two so far, this one and a male that has been killed. The male grew even faster and with even bigger leaves than the one pictured (but no purple) so the girl in the picture is preggers on a branch or two with the sibling male that was whacked (F2 seeds in the making).
Anything else? I think I'm starting to ramble, but this girl shows great promise to me. Grown under a 50 W UFO-style LED. She smells delicious, very fruity (like Pinksalad) but with a more hashy and maybe even piney odour (hashy definitely from Blazer, piney from the branchy mystery plant). The only thing that I would not consider great is the frosting, but she started frosting up quite late and is only getting started. I think the plant is around 8 weeks old from seeds in these pics which were taken today. On to the eyecandy (or at least it will be in two-three weeks I reckon):
