I think you've made a great point zamalito, there must be some logic behind their motives, because rational thought processes seem lacking. I noticed the change in THCA metablization in de Meijer, althought it seems that this new "understanding" of cannabinoid production is mostly theory, and one full of holes at that.
I love how they just ignore historical landrace strain morphologies to some extent to just call all high cannabinoid plants indicas. Actually, they seem to ignore just about any historical data on cannabis that doesn't fit conveniently into their perceived reality - just like the rest of the brain-washed public.
The article about deMeijer and his work with HortaPharm and Dr. Guy is interesting, especially if they actually looked at and worked with a whole range of cannabinoids (and other terpenes, for that matter) in conjunction with some realistic clinical trials. I kinda doubt that will actually happen though. It seems more likely that a situation like zamalito mentions will occur - the attempt to develop a medicine from some non-psychoactive version of cannabis.
