Intake Air and Co2

I run Co2 with Split AC. My AC keeps my room at 81 when my lights are on. Im growing Girl Scout and they like temps around 74. My AC will not quit do that.

My question is can I fan in cold air from the outside to help the AC? Will this effect my CO2 by burning through if faster? Also is there any other reason I shouldn't fan in cold air while running CO2? Of course i would filter the cold air so its not sucking in Bugs.

Thank you for any sort of advise

if you run Co2 your room should be sealed air tight.
I don't kno how much cold air you can pump in to effect a temp change
unless there is some way for it to escape
in that case your gonna be losing the Co2.

are your hoods air cooled?
if they're not that's the way to go to get to lower temps

My room is not totally perfectly sealed. One Day!!! Im in a garage.

Yes my hoods are aired cooled.

Not enough AC for the Job. If I was growing and OG I would be right in there, but its just the stain thats requiring lower temps.

Im just wondering by pumping in cold air from outside, will it make my co2 work harder? Probably but Im wondering if anyone else has done this?

Is there any way to set the co2 to cut off for so long each hour and after co2 ppm has went to low then cycle in outside air ..then turn on co2 again.

If your room isnt totally sealed dont bother with the co2
Even if you are just running your AC bringing in cold air will just force your ac out of the cracks.
One or the other, not both!
Anyway 81 is fine with co2.
Sounds like you are probably having other problems

Sealed to me is a Vault. Most sealed rooms have cracks. My room is sealed enough to have Co2 going.

Its the strain that likes the lower temps. My OG loved the 81 degrees, GSC like it at 74.

Anyways sounds like it wont work from further research. 350ppms for cold air blowing in would make the burner have to keep up with 1100ppms. I would probably go through about 5 gals of propane per day.

Thank you for all the help

i remember reading up on sealed rooms
depending on the RH if you get more than something like a 10degree drop?
the water in the air will condense out

Depends on what the dew point temp is at. Which of course is influenced by our controlled environment. But, that does seem to be what has triggered it for me in the past. Condensation on the plants due to temp and rh swings

From my understanding ~85 is a good temp with 1000-1500ppm of CO2 with a 10 degree drop at night. remember to turn off your co2 at night. And also running your ac in your sealed room wont force air out bc the AC recirculates the existing air.. and I agree with

Im currently trying to build a sealed room and, although I think it will be 95% sealed AT LEAST I think, I am finding out how hard it can actually be to build a completely sealed room. Ivw found being neat and organized goes a long way. goodluck

My sealed space has plenty of holes and cracks. I really don't sweat the little stuff. If I turn my co2 off the plants can draw the it down to 100ppm in about 40 minutes. Thats sealed enough for me.
