Insulation suggestions

Here are a few pictures of a "mock" frame that I have put together in order to get some measurements on walls and such. Before I attach the walls I am thinking it would be a good idea to use some insulation, but what kind? Or is insulation a bad idea, I cant imagine why it would be, but hey I don't know everything.

I will be using a 400 watt light and I have not decided on the fan yet, I do have a vortex 172, but I have been reasearching some other fan options as well and think I will go with a larger CFM fan.

So what do you all think? Inuslate? And what kind of insulation is the best, I guess for sound deadening. Security is not a huge issue, but I would like it to be as quiet as possible.

The pictures are not that great, but there are the measurements:

One 18 inch roll of reflectix insulation, 25 bucks at the home grown stores, staple it, nail it, or tape it. And your reflective surface is also done.

Well my plan is in the next few days have plywood cut, and painted white to attach to this framework. But I am thinking that any insulation will work then, that way I have atleast 4 inches of insulation between the grow room wall and the outside wall.
Any other certain types, prefferably somewhat cheap that will work?

My contractor wants me to use rigid styrofoam sheet insulation (mylar on both sides) 3.5" thick, it sounds like a good solution to your problem perhaps. Have to put plywood over it if you want to hang things from it though.

Hello,
Do Like You Said Above. Use 1/2 In. Plywood. Put Studs & Or Ceiling Joists On 16 In. Centers. Buy What R Value Insulation That You Can Afford. It Will Sound Proof It More Too IMO.
If You Want To Spend A Little Money Add Tyvek.
Thank You

Dow Corning SupertuffR
5/8 thick does a great job.
$12 per 4x8 sheet.
Score one side with a straight edge and a knife, and it will break off clean. (similar to cutting glass)
You could have a sheet cut up to fit in between your studs in no time, then cover that with your plywood as you were. Cut them a 1/8 inch larger than the actual space between studs and you can just push them in snug, then nail your plywood to the studs.
OR, put up the plywood and mount the whole sheet on the grow room side right to the plywood. One side of the board is brushed aluminum color.
