I have to insulate a concrete block
i have 4x12ft panels of foil backed 2" EPS foam.
the 2" eps is rated at R 3.85 per inch so i am at about R 7.70
I need more R value.
prodex is R 16 so I ordered a roll of that and plan to use the 2 and try to hopefully get the R value to 23.7
the prodex also has the foil cover radiant barrier on both sides i think
the eps panels on 1 side
what is the most effcient way to install these 2 together.
foam against the wall with foil facing the wall or the room side?
or prodex on the wall,
have a small air gap between the wall?
or flush together?
same on the ceiling.
ill have a 12-16" gap to the 2x4 ceiling joists.
i'll attach the 2" foam to the bottom of it and maybe lay the prodex on top of the joist?
