I hear that pain!
Had bad shoulder pain and no sleep all last week, it's only been helped by some brownies I made- needed a couple but does the trick.

I recommend edibles. Hope you find some relief

Thanks guys for the suggestions, I appreciate it. Edibles definitely help but I need to find a better method, cannabutter tastes so bad and its so hard to hide the flavour.

I need to make some room in my tent I have Zamaldelica and Haze right now and that certainly doesn't help you sleep....

Hi.
Some sativas or sativa leaning hybrids can have some what negative effect with pain, imo. For me muscle/joint pain, if a smoke makes me abit too tense, can feel more "sharp".

LUI or AK-47.

You are looking for some heavy Indica leaning strains.

Also, if you have a volcano, or vape method with a dial, with can ramp that up and get more of s a sleep inducing effect. I would take my volcano up to 7 and it would just Knock me out.

Good luck, may your pain be manageable.

Tinctures 2-3x a day helps. Either glycerin or spirit (vodka, brandy) based.

Thanks so much for all suggestions, it's given me a few options to look into, some outside of strains too maybe that just masks the pain.

I have had this problem for the last couple of years, sometimes it's worse and sometimes goes away. The worst thing I did was take about 5g of shrooms...all I could focus on was the pain, it definitely didn't help.

One cheap option for a strain you're looking for could be Afghan Kush by World of Seeds.

There's some variation among plants cause it's a "landrace",not the worst case thou, but there are some really nice plants to be found there. Narcotic stone with nice help with pain ..atleast for muscles and joints for me.
The effect is also mellow "feel good"-effect, in a same-ish ball park with blueberry, only much more narcotic and abit stronger.

These seeds are 20-25 euros/10 pack and easy to find.
WOS also makes Afghan Kush hybrids with Sensi's Black Domina and DP's Mazar, but i haven't tried these. ..i think these are Fem seeds, but i'm not sure.

Shrooms and pure Sativa plants are not good for physical pain.

What you need is an pure or mostly pure Indica plant for that total body relaxation feeling.

Best method I found to eliminate the taste was to make ice hash first, then decarb it, mix with coconut oil and use that.
I did 3.6g hash to 50ml coconut oil, then used the 50ml in place of veg oil in a choc muffin recipe. This gave 0.3g per cake , no canna taste at all- 1 cake = stoned, 2-sleep well, and 3- almost tripping.

Very effective for pain.

I use to have the same problem with butter but found I can almost completely eliminate the nasty taste by water curing my trim for a week before making the butter. I use pantyhose with a couple big fishing sinkers to keep them weighed down and submerged in the water. Change the water every day for a week, dry out the trim again then make butter.

Nice ideas for eating it there thank you. My tolerance is pretty high especially once I start eating it, I've always done 1g to every 15g of butter I just can't stomach that any more lol...

Definitely agree on Sativa's, and Shrooms that was a difficult experience and taught me not to take things like that as lightly

I actually got it wrong. Their Mazar Kush isn't apparently related to Dutch PAssion's Mazar, but has a different Mazar i Sharif line in it.

But they have their Afghan Kush crossed to Yumbolt which could also be quite relaxing and stoney.

Frozen quick wash works for me. I have been adding citric acid to the results. Once the reaction has finished, I add a tad of coconut oil and use it as a sublingual.

I use the process described by badkittysmiles for the citric acid extraction: http://cannapedia.me/Citric+Acid+Extraction

The steps need drying time etc, but it only takes about 15 mins combined working time to prepare. It works quickly and delivers well for me.
