When you choose to grow outdoors, you can make like a lot simpler by learning to live and let live with bugs.

Very few insects cause damage to the plants. Of those that do, Cannabis is able to out grow any insect damage short of a plague.

It is not worth your while using an insecticide like Seven (Savon), sure you kill a few bugs, but there are billions more ready to take their place. Unless your can spray on an industrial scale, your not affecting the balance one bit.

The indoor guys have to worry about spider mites, white flies and fungus nats. They seldom present outdoor. Insects are not an outdoor problem, Deer and thieves are.

I agree with the having to put it on constantly. I usually try and do it after every rainstorm until the plants get some size to them. I usually stop at 3 feet, after that they seem to recoup unless something cuts the stalk. I have a couple spots around marshes that if I didnt spray, they would be chewed to nothing. The reason I choose the seven is because of the multitude of bugs it kills. It will even kill slugs and I have never seen as many as I have this year. They are just everywhere where I live. It must also have a nasty taste because I have see where deer have taken a leaf and nothing more. In order for it to be effective you need to spray it on until it dries white on the plant..........

Good choice, slugs are voracios eaters and will do serious damgage to a young plant.

That sounds like a heavy application rate, drying white, but those early leaves will be long gone when Fall comes. First, you got to get them there. ;)
