Insect damage buds, large quantity, ez way to cook?

I've have a lot of plants with insect damage, some harvested, some not quite ready, but I think I will pull to prevent further damage.

In the past I've infused oil with cannabis, it worked but it was done over hotplate, rather than a stove and I wasn't happy with the results. It tasted horrible and I wasn't able to judge the dose. Does anyone have suggestions for an easy, reliable cook? I have a microwave and a stove like this:

This makes great oil even using Bud Dust. Not bad tasting and easy to dose. A rice grain is all you'll need.
I make mine in a toaster Oven and a metal cat food dish
