....it is good to see you over here...i deleted my account over there...and plan to do so here in a short bit also...but i am happy you chose to try out some of the strains i crossed....i can't show you any pix of any finished products, as i haven't had a chance to do here justice yet...but i have som veg pix...she's a beauty (Spindle) but takes some time to grow (probably suffers from the same genetic drift that sour diesel suffers from) because she's an old clone...me and schroomy have the same friend ..aloha schroomy!....like i said, she was from our friend that had to get it from some people up in WA state....the circle is real small on this one, which is one of the main reasons that you will probably never hear about it....the man said that all of the old heads prefer this one over the more commerically available strains in the area....also like i said, i haven't been really able to finish her out properly because of personal and other circumstances, but i have almost had her done...and needless to say, she piqued my interest enough to know that i need to to do her RIGHT before i totally let her go....she smells great...she gets you HIGH...so far at least for me............the Frost/Spindle cross should be interesting....but you are the first person to grow the cross so far...so you will be the only one who knows how it grows.......the man said she's done in about 60 days...the frost takes anywhere from 80-90/100 or so days to finish...so maybe you can look at some of the quicker phenos to phinish in 70/75 days or so......the FRrost has a lighter funk/florally-ish smell to her...where the spindle has more of a pronounced sharp fruity smell to her...you have the pure frost also, so it should help you be able to distinguish the difference between the frost phenos and the spindle phenos...i am excited about this particular cross because i like the types of smells that i get off of the two different strains...and the tastes are close enough to each other that they are in the same realm of smells and tastes and such...not close mind you, but close enough....certainly not like if i crossed the frost to a white widow or something....anywho...that's likely to be about as much of the information as i am probably going to give out...soooooooo......good luck brother....please update with pix, as you already know more about this cross than anyone on planet earth.......aloha!...pm me here...i'll check in every couple of days...if you don't mind, i owe you a seed send.......ok brother greenthumb...aloha to you my friend.............theflyinhawyn!
nice start Ephe! was sad to see the molokai thread close then of course the whole site... but nice to see ya round man, an still breedin the aloha, ahh so great. i finally got to run your moloka'i, seem to have a male and a female right now... the smell is a minty mysteriousness, can't wait to flower the lovelys. i feel oh so lucky to get to taste the molokai, haven't had any pure hawaiian since i lost the kona mother. take care, n see ya round HaWyn, this one's for you!
the pictures i've seen have been just stupendous. i should be able to make some seeds from these molokais to continue sharing the aloha as hawyn so graciously did for us. can't let the beauts disappear from the mainland right! keep on keepin em as happy as they look, peace n green thumbs man....aloha to you bro....the frost looks fine!...there should be some good phenos floating aorund in the strain....watch out for hermie though....they don't happen on all of them mind you, but they still happen, as with anything taken out of it's natural environment, it needs time to adjust....so keep an eye out....i haven't done another frost since my last cycle a couple of months ago when i made the latest round of beans seen above......i have so many nice strains right now, it's hard for me to focus........my next focus on the frost is to search for a truely great male, as i still have one of the two mamma frosts in clone form, and will breed to that to pretty much keep the strain alive as i know it.......the Maui came straight from a friend on the isle who had some contact with some old-school growers....one of whom decided to give up growing after doing it for nearly 20/30 years and gave my friend his stash of beans....think along the lines of The Brotherhood of Love, and you'll understand the significance of that contact....anway, my friend gave a couple of us HI online guys a few packets of those beans....some of which went out to ephe......just some info for you and him...aloha bro...nice to see you posting about the Hawai'i stuff with high regard all the time...makes us HI guys feel special........i'll talk to you in a bit bro...aloha!...just so i can post my congratulations to your fine work....aloha bro, take care!
