INFO NEEDED 1ST TIMER

Basically a pal of mine has had the same strain for about 6-7 years now which I believe is jack herer, so this is my 1st grow same strain from his monther plant exactly the same set up like I mean exactly the same from pots to timers to soil it's all identical but the plants are far from the same his every time have been short with a decent yield, around 3-4 oz per plant but mine are tall and don't look to be doing too good with only 20 days of flowering left I know I ain't done owt different he's basically held my hand through the grow and he has never seen his strain grow like this before, what could be the problem? Any help is welcome Thankyou all

Thats not a whole lot of info to go on.

Whats your lighting? Nutrient regiment? Temps? Air exchange? PH? Something is obviously different. If plants are tall I would start with thinking inadequate lighting/too far from lights. Temps also play a role in internode spacing however.

Folks would be glad to help but will need much better information than what youve provided

Sorry about that like I said first timer here, I have 8 plants under 2 600w light, are ph is exactly the same as we like almost next to each other so same water supply ph has also be teated can't remember the reading of top of head though, iv had the lighting a little close if anything, my lights was been moved higher almost twice a week due to them starting to burn the top buds, I'm currently using Cana a+b canazym and just swaped my big bud for overdrive

Be careful not to over fertilize. Using too much is far worse than using little or none at all.

What sized containers? What grow medium? Adequate drainage?

Pics would help.

My drainage is good, I'm using 80ml in 20L of water of Cana A+B 50ml per 20L canazym and 40ml of big bid but to changed to 40ml of overdrive, not quite sure what you mean by grow medium. Thanks for your reply

canna what a and b .. coco ? are u growing in coco or soil? lol.. seems like u should of done a lot more research before even starting .. but hey fucking up a grow will teach u a lot faster good luck friend.

Yeah mate canna coco and I'm growing in coco. See my friends been going a long time and I'm using and doing everything he's used and done, is there a decent amout of bug growth in the last 20 days?
