Info about BAN and INFRACTION please

Hi all mates,
I searched and searched trying to understand if automatic ban is active in this vbullettin based forum and how many infractions and/or points lead to automatic ban if it's working.
I'd be courious to know because I started to moderate Italian section some weeks ago with other two people too,and I think we should know at least how it works.
May someone help us please?

thanks for stopping here kharmagirl.I don't want to ban anyone,just want to understand how it works.there is the ''yellow and red card'' I can use to give infraction to another user.
Does this infraction put limits to user's privileges?
Is there a,temporary or not,ban after 'x' infractions?

I searched in the forums but there aren't info about this.....it would be great if someone could explain the ''rules''.....it's a common thing usually made in other forums.

Infractions are warnings. No points. Forum mods cannot ban anyone. Solely Super Mods and Admin.

Yeah, I dunno what Skip means....After his post I thought maybe he removed the infractions when he added the thumbs, but I still see the infraction cards and can give infractions....If they're still there, use em

I was handing them out by the bucketful to luvsponge the other day. I was curious to see how many it would take to get someone banned. He was up to 300-400 points when he got banned out from under me.

I already tried to give infraction to see what happens(then I reversed it) and the user with -active infraction- can do everything as normal...posting,open threads etc...I presume this feature is set to not limit user account in any way,isn'it?(it take away only rep points)
You can see your infraction by notification or in 'user profile' under the 'infractions' voice.

Automatic ban feature consists in banning a member after 'x' infractions automatically.
Is there a ban if a member get two,three,four etc... infractions?

Be CAREFUL, an infraction will go on your PERMANENT RECORD. You may be turned down for employment because of this. That and the fact that you really don't want the job.

maybe only mod can view user's infraction however...but if you really want to try I can give you an infraction and then reverse it...
