Infected and Deficient? Advice please..

I took off for a week, and left a friend to water.
Got home last night.
I use Mills, and Terpinator. After mixing all additives, adjust to 6.0 - 7.0 range PH.
They didn't get balanced PH during the week I was gone.

I have never seen the yellow patches.
On some leaves it is minor, on others the yellow has taken over.

Is there anyway to quickly overcome that, or should I just make sure to water with higher PH range for a couple weeks?
They are starting to bud, is only have a month max left.

2nd problem.
In the back corner is one plant with several tops that have been spider webbed.

Have never seen that either.
The tops are closed up with a web.
I pulled the webbing off, and destroyed the eggs, but chances are I missed 1 or 2, which means in a week they gonna hatch and infest.
Have never had any bugs either, but this is only my 3rd crop.
Any advice you can offer for both the yellow leaves and spiders would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you..

OMG.
I decided to try a low THC, high CBD plant.
Got it from Cloners, Seattle.
The one in the back corner is where they started.
Thanks.

Massive spider mite infestation, check for the many threads here dealing with them. Sorry for your grow because I know how destructive they can be. Use a magnifying lens on the underside of the leaves. I think you'll find they are already out of hand.

Have a look here: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=171657

Thanks for the link.
A local nursery has 1500 ladybugs for $10.
I suppose a grower just isn't a grower until they have at least one problem.
I'll probably start a predator colony just to deal with anything in the future.

Ya, use a 100x scope on those to make sure you identify the right pest and can hit 'em with the proper treatment. Looks like Mites and might be to late... If you treat 'em at this point in flower try some Green Cure. Be sure to do a massive top to bottom cleaning of your space after its all over. If you buy clones again dip them, scope them, and isolate from your main spot for a couple days.

Good Luck

Two days with 1500 ladybugs and they are not doing the job.
It's only a 11x7 greenhouse.
I've read up on Dr. Doom and Pyrethrum TR, and heard they are both not very good.
I'm probably going to toss 2 plants, but think I may be able to save the other 13.
Anyone know of a fogger that can be used within a month of harvest?

I didn't think it was even possible to "hate" an insect, they got no brains, no self will, no consciousness, they just run around on a hard wired program, but alas, I have discovered, it is very possible.
One week ago I didn't even know what a spyder mite was, now, grrrrrrr....

Personally, I wouldn't do it, but I'm particular/sensitive to systemic stuff.

However, after working in commercial greenhouse operation (14 greenhouses) for a few seasons back in the late 1990's, fog bombs were set off in both vegetable and flower (annual/perennial) houses.

Fog bomb, rid the problem, then spray (water) and not over soak the plants to wash off residue. Overwatering will create more problems.

I know...insects are a bummer...they attack healthy plants in a matter of hours....and often you don't notice until damage done a few days later.

Good luck!

Any recommendations on brand?
After watering from the nute bucket last night I used regular tap water with a mist head to wash down, knew it wouldn't kill 'em but figured it'd give a little relief to the ladies until I figured out the next phase.
I made sure to run the hose until there was fresh water in the hose, I've noticed water sitting even 1 day in a rubber hose gets stagnant and loses PH.
I got species that have different grow cycles, so even if I lost the few that are budding now, I should be able to save the ones 1 1/2 months from harvest.

And thanks again for your input. There's nothing worse than watching those vile insects rat pack a bud with an entire colony, and not being able to do anything about it.

GreenG,
It would really help if you would take any future pics in natural light. Very hard to tell what's what under HPS light.

Also, if they're Spider Mites, you only need a little magnification to see them. For Broads and Russets you'll need high magnification, like 100x.

If your plants are staked [so stems can withstand the extra weight from being soaking wet] you can cover the medium so it doesn't spill much, and dunk and slightly stir them in soapy water every 36 hours, 4 times. Then after about 48 hours, spray them heavily with water to rinse soap off. The dunking removes mites and eggs. Each time, do an area spray including bottoms of containers, walls, doors, floors with something organic. Check the "Spider Mite Borg" sticky in Cannabis Infirmary. If you do a good job, you'll likely be rid of them without hurting buds, if in bud. If in veg, staking shouldn't be needed.

Lady Bugs work well for most things, but not so well for mites. Good luck. -granger

I got some stuff to deal with the mites.Planned on fogging with the pyrethrum fogger, then spraying down with the green cleane after a few hours in the fog.
Was told the green cleaner is good for once daily for 3 days, either in the nutes or a spray bottle, then another fog to get the eggs.
After that either the Bonide veg spray or Garden Safe Fungicide.
Got the hot Shot in case the Pyrethrum doesn't work.

I was planning on just not having a day cycle today. It will cause stress, but so will the fogger.
It doesn't bother me to stress and slow the plants as they will need a lttle extra time to work the insecticide out.
Is this over kill?
Thanks.

Damn dude...Thats pretty heavy. I don't really like pyrethrum foggers this late in flower and those Hot Shot strips are really bad at this point IMHO. Guess Im just saying I wouldn't want to smoke it after that assault combined with mites...I do however LOVE the Green Cleaner. Use it as Foliar. Go full strength the first day with it then back down the dose as recommended.

there are so many things you can use other then what you have bought for mites lol like isopropyl and essential oils, depending on how far into flower you are. also mites are the BORG, weekly maintanence will be needed.

when i had them i used avid early in clone, and one more spray before flower.

but if you get em in flower, sucks to say the nug will be fucked with somehow, either from the spray or from the webs and asshole eggs.

i just decimated some mites in my veg area with avid. but shits pricey.

I totally went overboard, went to two different supply stores, and got just about everything they had. I didn't use everything.
Only used one pyrethrum fogger, am going to use the other tomorrow, four days after the 1st.
Let the fog sit about 6 hours, then flushed the garden hose, put a head with mist, and totally soaked everything down after a good nute feed.
Mixed the green cleaner into a solution and spray down once a day at feeding time.
Turned the lamps down to 750W, turned the ac up to keep at 79 during "day", then turned humidifier up to 65%.
The ladies are looking really good.
I'm hoping I have a month before starting the 2 week flush.
Been told I can add either brown sugar or molasses to the start of flush to both add a little flavor and help mask any potential residual taste.
I also got a calcium additive for the nute tank to help healing.
I run all Mills, with Terpinator.
Anyone else ever hear of adding the taste wash, and, any other suggestions for keeping those little bastards away?
I had planned on mounting the strips after the last fog, but if they have a odor I agree, I don't want to jeopardize taste.
I had to go postal on 'em because I was freaking clueless until plants were starting to die.
Now I know what to look for and they will never take over like that again.
Thanks all.

This has never failed me, or anyone else that I know that has used it.

Photosyntesis's Neem and essential oil recipe for mites:

Per gallon of WARM water,
1oz. of neem oil (Ahimsa is the best)
1oz. of Dr. Bronner's baby soap (only use up to week 2 of flower)
a pinch of agsil 16 (approximately a 1/4 teaspoon)
2 Ml of Lavender essential oil
2 Ml of Rosemary essential oil
1 Ml of Thyme essential oil
1 Ml of Eucalyptus essential oil

Use this once per week until two weeks before harvest, and you will be mite free. This has developed since I landed in Denver, and the mites here drink up most organic remedies.

Only use Dr Bronner's up to the second week of flower as it can degrade trichomes. Make sure to always use warm water. If your neem is to thick to pour run your bottle under hot water first.

Excellent concoction!

Is it OK to store the mix? If so, should I just nuke for 10 seconds to warm?
Is a well rinsed milk jug OK for storage?
Do you have a formula for using to 1 day before harvest?

If anyone else is going to make this, I found everything at a local health food store except the AgSil 16. (it's a potassium silicate powder)
That is at any good nursery.
Use a good pump spray atomizer.
They are the best for a good even pattern, and once you pump it up it's like painting a car. Also you wont waste any, and if you have more than 1 or 2 plants, your hand will wear out squeezing the dang trigger.
If you refill your own printer ink, you can use one of the ink syranges for the neem oil and baby soap. 1oz = 29.5 ml.

I'm guessing your a botanist, or other really advanced grower.
Really do appreciate you taking the time to help educate.
