Inexpensive grow system

Painfull

Hello everyone,
I am looking for a cheep but good hydro system for growing 4-8 plants. I am disabled with a nero movement condition and also not handy with things. It must be hands free as much as possible. I will be using a 400w HPS with a hortilux bulb. So if it can be expanded i may get another lamp. I have a small aero system for 4 plants but the reservoir is too small and too much for me to handle. I need it to handle just about any strain i would like to grow, so each pot must have enough room for big root growth. I was looking for a web site that make their own by growers that know what works. I would appreciate all your help.

Thanks,
Painfull

Easiest I've found...

Easiest I've found...

Have you heard of the "Hempy bucket"? It's just a bucket/trash can with a 1/2" hole drilled 2" up from the bottom. You fill it with perlite/vermiculite 3 to 1 add nukes 'till it just runs out the hole every few days. No moving parts very little waste of nukes. Some folks don't even drill the hole, they just water them when they look/feel like they need it.

If you think it'll work for you just search this forum or use this scroogle link to search the web for even more links.

Beat google at their own game, use
http://www.scroogle.org
search the WWW and leave no tracks...

Thanks, i am still looking. There must be a web site out there that sells homemade hydro systems that will work for me. I seen a lot of home made systems people make in IC that are killer.

Peace,

bubble buckets for DWC... stick an airstone in the bottom of any rubbermaid container/bucket/whatever and cut a hole for the net pot in the top. costs almost nothing and works damn well.

Painfull I've been looking around and haven't found anything less hands on then mine and Rolling Stoned ideas. Wally-World sells "self watering" pots in many sizes, including planters. They would work with a "wicking" media and are "pre-made".

With four plants in my "hempies" I only have been mixing one and a half gallons of feed at a time every third day, so far, as they get bigger I might need to feed every other day. But still one - three gallons of nukes sure beats messing with ten - fifty or more gallons I think anyways. I've been spending alot more time in my garden, instead of working it.

Well anyways, best of luck to you on your quest. Your answer is out there, some where, you just need to find it.
