outdoors. i threw some seeds in the ground for the hell of it. two weeks later when i went back i was surprised they had actually grown. by the time i harvested my first crop months later, i was hooked. i got a friend of mine (BuzzFreebud) started growing indoors now with a 400 watt HPS, and i will probably do an indoor some day, but for now, its all out under the great HPS in the sky for me.

well my first grow technically was outdoors but i wasnt planing on growin. my friends and i would always smoke outside at this one spot and when we had shitty weed with seeds in it we would just throw it on the ground. one day i went there to smoke and there was a plant growin. lol it was late fall... it was probably at the 4th node. it ended up dieing due to the cold but i dont really count that as my first grow.

I started indoors but I want to grow outdoors so bad. I can't right now but hopefully one day I will. My plan is to grow indoors until summer then take time off and grow outdoors.

indoors then outdoors. I find it in fact easier to grow outdoors... It's simpler, mother nature helps you out a little. All you gotta do is give your babies some TLC... I must say I'm just beginning my outdoors but I'm pretty happy with it.

I agree with Sol ... its probly easier ... but I find it hard to find locations and then setup and take things to it ... I'd rather have it all in one place!

Peace

I helped my father grow since I was 5, at that time he only grew outdoors. When I was in my late teens he started growing SOG indoors, and I helped him with that too.

My first fully independant grow was outdoor, guerilla style. Since then I have done a mixed bag of indoor and out, this year will be outdoors exclusively, Guerilla in the bush!! My mission from here out is to not grow indoors, especially since the only reason I do is when I have a miserable outdoor season.

indoor because I live too far north to get anything good imo and lazy as fuck so digging hole ain't for me but the thing is I never had anything "Really" good commin from outdoor but if I have the chance to find good clones that would performe well in northern climate
and a nice spot I might do it next season to make myself some hash

My first couple grows were inside. I didn't know shit about lighting, so nothing much came of them. My first successful grow was outside, and I did that for several years.

When security concerns forced me back inside, I learned how to light a grow properly. My best grows have all been inside.

i started out indoors... i think everyone should because grow seasons only come 1ce or 2ce a year, and if you fuck up your indoor grow... you start that "season" all over again on your own watch.

I think it would be a good idea for non-gardeners to start indoors, because they are going to have to learn how to grow something first.

For folks who are well acquainted with outdoor gardening(vegtables, flowers, herbs), I see no problem starting outdoors.

Most of the problems new growers have with growing Cannabis are usually basic, non-cannabis specific problems. The outstanding problem that is Cannabis specific, is Budrot, which is not usually encountered indoors.

Cannabis is one of the easiest benificial plants that you can grow. If you can grow a Tomato, you can grow a bud!

If you have never grown a plant start to finish outdoors, its best to learn that first, so in that case, yes starting Indoors is a good idea.
