So in a week I will be leaving on vacation for 8 days. I've been doing a bit of research and I gather that I could some how rig a pump system with a digital timer to water the every so often.

They are in week 4 of veg and were just fed today. I was gone for the past 3 days and fully saturated them before I left. Almost 100% dry when I came back yestderday. This is what they looked like today after I fed and watered them. First time fed, should have earlier as they are nitrogen def. I've also tied them down since the photo.

anything i can as it is a really small micro grow itd have to be a small rig...

I like to put large trays under each plant if hand watering, and if I'm gonna be gone a while I water until the tray almost overflows. The plants will suck it up as needed and extend your window a bit. Or you can get some of the Tropf Blumat auto-waterers and siphon feed from a reservoir with no pumps or timers (do a search for blumat)
