had a recent spider mite prob.. i think i bought cheap soil and the soil was contaminated cause it seems spider mite population went up as i sprayed to control it. It was not a insane infestation but i could tell the plants were not healthy. regardless i put them out doors to see what would happen, so basically i scrapped them and am going to a soiless grow. do you think its necessary to bomb my closet with a miticide fogger or somethin?? am i risking another infestation by putting them in the closet with out anyone have any suggestions of a good brand of spider mite bomb?

Well a good anti bug spray would be neem oil. Just foliar spray once a week and bugs will stay away from the plants. I can guarantee you that 100% it will not hurt the plants and easy to apply.

You need to thoroughly clean and disinfect the whole area where the grow and the mites were. Spider mites can be a bitch to get rid of. Personally, I'd not only bomb the area but wipe it down with a mild bleach solution if possible. 1oz/gallon.

I use neem oil too and it works as a fungicide as well as a bug spray. If you look you can find products containing neem oil as its main ingrediant at Walmart or Lowes.
