Indoor grow advice

So Im on my 3rd grow. I'm trying to increase my yield. My 1st grow I yielded 30 ounces using 2 Mars led grow lights (450 actual watts each) in a 2mx2m tent. The plants were grown in soil and begged for 2 months from seed.

My 2nd grow was in coco using a dtw system. Plants were vegged for a month from clone and yielded 26 ounces.

Both times I grew big plants. This time I want to grow smaller plants due to my lights not penetrating very well which led to a lot of wasted growth on my plants.

I'm growing big bud but am looking for a new strain.
Would a ebb n flow system using coco work well with say 50 clones under 900w of led grow lights be a good setup? Also how long does the plant need to veg from clone roughly to yield an oz each? And are there any strains that anyone could suggest that would work well in this system?

Two pounds at 450 watts per pound, I am impressed.
I put 1100 watts of light on each of my containers and get ten to twelve ounces per each.
I would love to quadruple my output, half the light and twice the yield, so I will keep up with this thread. Any chance of photos of your system?

I've seen a few grows here on ic using coco with f/d tables.. I've never done it myself (always have done top drip to waste).. I've heard people mention concerns about salt build up being more of an issue in f/d than with top drip but i have no idea if those concerns are valid.
As for ur other questions, I think 7-10 days would be pretty good for veg time doing 25 per light... But that # depends a lot on the strain and how well they take off after transplant.
As for strain, I'd think us want something stocky with tighter node structure.
Any pure/ish indica should be ok... The only strains I've grown like that were a strawberry cough cut and an Elvis cut (not much help on seeds to order)...
Good luck, ur doing really well so far. Good growing and heavy harvests
