Indoor going out. Finally! Best Hashplant from seed or clone?

Hello, I am an experienced indoor grower that was able to have my first outdoor plot last year and more acreage to do it again this year.

The climate here is very hot and dry in the growing season and I need a plant that is capable of processing intense sunlight. I have read I want a hash plant variety or similar strain.

Could anyone with experience suggest some strains? I have many elites but cherry pie seems the only one that would be good outside in the heat. Sour diesel does well also but my killer og doesn't and my blue dream cut auto flowers no matter the photo period. I also have a shiva widow x that does well. The og x widow doesn't.

Thank you in advance for any help.:tiphat:

Got it figured! put the picky bitches in a green house with supplemental halides and grow a couple like ghost train haze and a local hash plant outside as they can take lots of light. Just was hoping for some other opinions. Have a good season.

I had grown many varieties at 42º and more or less all of them works well, of course some needs more water than others but sun is like divine glory for all. So I would search for plants that the root system retains well the humidity.

OK these are not elite clones but in my experience the more indica% hybrids or indica landrace are the best option, I remember that I had a libanese strain that seemed to don't need water, also imo T.H. Deep Chunk or even Tashkenti from CBG as well are good options to make hash and taste some silk road old flavors.

On the other hand, you can see in Maroc a lot of sativa multihybrids growing under hottest august sun at 2.400m above the sea level running with a very poor irrigation, so acclimatization is very important.

I'm going to run this summer in outdoor a mongolian strain (supossedly landrace) that i,ve already grow in indoor this winter and seems to me it will go better in outdoor under the sun in a more dry environment. And of course, many others, elite or not, I like the diversity.

Hope that helps.

It was good. Started early and had supplemental lights every 15'. Then my buddy thought it would be a good idea to turn the lights off mid may because they attracted bugs.
Didn't catch it for ten days and had to deal with a reveg.
Lots of wax material from the reveg and a decent but diminished harvest. On the upside my old buddy learned a bit and so did I.
If I ever see reveg again I will start over. But some of the best wax I ever had.
