Amazing pics.. Great work. 16 bins seems like alot of work.. making spawn for all of that is the time consuming part.. Also pastuerizing all that Coco mix..... God Bless You haha.. You ever think of running a mini greenhouse? Not a Martha but something alittle bigger with trays and big 50 Gal drum misters?? You could totally automate it.. The only real work will be spawn, spawn run and harvest/drying..

I knew a girl who used to run 50 66QT monotubs.. She would harvest every 2 months.. She did it by herself out of a condo and she is who I learned everything from.. She was truely amazing.. It wasn't uncommon for her to harvest 6 ounces per bin dry after 2 flushes.. Mushrooms can be grown in such huge quantities.. I really want to get into growing Oysters.. I have experience with edibles and they are fun and profitable to grow.. Any decent resturant will buy them.. Especially Blue and Pink Oysters...

Hey, thanks for the compliment 79. And yeah ive thought about running a small green house. I have some marthas with casings also and some straw logs. I got some blue oysters on a mini log right now. But my problem comes up with space right now.

I went away for a bit and just made parole in feb of 08 and am still in a apt. renting. I should be moving into a house after the first of the year and then I plan to run some type of larger fruiting chamber. But for now mono's and my marthas are doing good.

Ill post some more pics here soon. I turn about 4oz give or take an Oz off each tub. I let em go two flushes, anything longer than that waste the space on the last few flushes. Some i toss out on the first flush if it hits the 4oz mark on the first one or 1120 grams wet. And as for spawn. I use spawn bags and G2G with a master jar. My spawn runs are pretty short and the sub doesnt take long to pasturize. I use a 5 gallon bucket for each tub and one brick of bed-abeast/qt of coffe grnds/at of verm and mix it all in the bucket and pour a gallon of boiling water on it all and put a towle over top the bucket and let it sit til the next morning and then spawn about 4qts to it.

Any questions just let me know. take it easy.

Hey, thanks for the kinds words guys. And I noticed the pill bottles when I first took the pics awhile back. But I zoomed in enough to read em. And the one on the side is to far over to not get anything but a few letters. And the one standing up is the side effects of the medicine. So I decided to not worry about it since no personal info is able to obtian. Thanks for the heads up though.

And Nata I have had people ask the same about alot of pics Ive posted on other forums of other shit. But Lets just say every once in awhile I like to endulge..hahaha

Mexi's are great. They colonize fast and vigorus. The pic with the not book covered are Mexi's. Good luck on the grow man, keep everything steril and clean and its a breeze.

Indica, how involved do you get with your isolations? Isolating can be very tedious.. The number one thing to look for tho is solid stems.. That is so important I think.. Isolaton is the sciencey part of it.. I like culture work tho.. It makes me feel smart haha.. What do you use as a flowhood? Did you build your own?? Thats the best way.. I've yet to find a cheap flow hood.. They are very expensive.. Also do you have any experience with breeding?? It can be pretty hard.. Just wanted to know what strains you may have come up with.. I know people say a Cube is a Cube and I think it's true to an extent.. But I also notice many different specific traits of each strain.. I will say that until you get your hands dirty and start fruiting transfers most strains are very similar.

I work with a home made Laminar flow hood with a home depot booster fan for the blower and a 24x24in hepa filter with prefilters on the fanmotors intake. It can keep a bic lighter at a 90 degree angle no problem.

As far as into agar work right now is simple isolates. I just started working with agar not long ago and its still all kinda new to me but im starting to get it.
I do a fair bit of cloning with the flow hood. A buddy of mine and also RR from the shroomery let me in on a secrete with cloning for comercial reasons. If you clone a pin you capture and clone the vigor of young, rapidly dividing cells. And it does work quit well. It increased my pinsets ten fold by cloning some nice pins and using that agar to colonize master jars for G2G.

And no i havent gotten into breeding at all. Ive seen alot about it and read some about it but havent gotten into it yet. I got to admit I let the commercial side of things get in they of improvement over the past year. But im focused again and ready to polish up on my mycology and improve as much as I can.

I love liberty caps. I grow some Pan Cyans also that are right up there with em but not the same. I wish you could cultivate Libs inside. Some are attempting it these days but not much progress. Spawning to an outdoor patch is about the best you can do.
And of course hunting them is always the best.
I used to have a buddy in seattle send me some from time to time.

nice man! i use to grow a ton of cubes..
I stopped because i built up a nice surplus, but I still have LC of isolated and multispore of penis envy, pe uncut, ape, venezuelan, gt, kss, etc.etc.etc.
even got into isolating wild prints.
its def fun to watch.. they are so quick!
I use to do large monotubs but had most success with small tubs due to contaminants. Amazingly enough I was able to get 9 flushes per tub using only coir and a small 50/50+ casing layer, but I found the after the 3rd flush u really dont get much.
Props man! glad to see another mush grower!
Malabar was a pretty good strain, but if u can ever find wikidzon it rivals ALLL.. even the potency of pe.. it outproduces all the strains i ran, and i prob ran more than 35.. awesome strain, extremely rhizomorphic.
Hit me up if u ever wanna try that wikidzon, i think i have some prints!

For sure man. Never heard of the strain you speak of. Sounds killer though. Im just getting into isolating wild prints. I got some buddies sending me wild pan cyan prints and ive been working on them tryin to get the hang of it. Ive got one that is showing pretty rizo growth. So i grew it out and simply cloned a few pins from it and now im using that im my master jars. Im getting 6-7 day spawn runs with with and 7 day spawn runs to colonize the sub. So its not to bad. But pans dont put of the weight that cubes do. Even though there potent as hell. I can run tubs of cubes all day and pull pounds and with the pans Im lucky to get a QP off of three 18gal monos.

I stopped casing monos along time ago, they just dont need it for what im doing. I never keep past the second flush and they can sustain a perfect micro climate on there own through the first 2 flushes in my expirence. So i tossed the idea of casing. I try to go deeper with my sub to produce larger fruit bodies. I stay around the 4-6 inch deep range. But towards 6in i can pull some pretty monster fruits on the second flush. Most of the time beating out the first flush. And that is with coir/coffe ground/verm
