Indica mums

Hi, just a quick question about keeping Indica dominant plants as mothers... I have a new plant, a Deep Chunk cross, that so far seems very unwilling to grow any side branches... I've tried topping, which has had limited results... side branches have now slowly started, but are still pretty much like little stumps coming from the leaf joint, and seem to be going real slow.

So, how do you keep an Indica dom or pure indica as a mum, is there a trick to getting her to grow cuttable side branches or do I just need patience?

Cheers in advance!

I haven't had problems getting my sativa moms to throw up suckers. I just tie down the top to get them a little more light than they'd normally get.

It may just be a strain thing instead of an indica thing. And like you mentioned, patience never hurts either :)

Pure-ish indicas can stall out, I've found. Last time I tried to jumpstart with a repot, I killed it.

how old is it? Mine go about a year and then are ready to give it up. However I take 4 cuts every 2 weeks so 100+ cuts from one mom is OK by me. :)
