Both for stealth (no outside exhaust) and economy, I like the idea of using the hot air exhausted from a growroom to heat the rest of my house.
I've been ducting my filtered exhaust (that also air-cools my lighting) up into my home heating system so it comes out one of our heating registers in the main living area.
Now that winter is coming on, I'm looking at a friend's larger grow setup to possibly reroute her hot exhaust air into the ducting that comes directly off her furnace. Any tips and tricks on this?
I'm going to tap into the large ducts that come right from the furnace/blower but I don't want too much pressure to impede the furnace fan. What do you think? Anyone else do this?
