In Your Opinion, What Is The Best Way To Set Up A 5X5 Dry Tent? Does This Sound Like A Proper Set Up? Any Tips Are Greatly Appreciated!

I am going to be adding a dry tent to my grow room soon which already has a 5x5 veg tent, and 5x5 flower tent.

I use the Gorilla Grow Tent brand for all of my tents.

My questions are:

1:
Gorilla grow Tent offers "Hanging Dry Racks", which im thinking about using, but want to make sure there isnt a better option first. Regardless of price, im looking for the best most high quality set up possible.

2: Are Oscillating fans necessary or should my duct fan provide enough air flow? Right now im planning on a 5x5 dry tent, with 2 ac infinity 6 inch clip on oscillating fans, and an 8 inch ac infinity T8 duct fan and carbon filter. Is this a good set up for a dry tent for a grow with a 5x5 veg and flower tent?

3: Ill also be getting a 70 pint dehumidifier. Is it better to have it inside the dry tent, or just inside of the room that the tent is in?

Thank you! If there is any other tips you can think of for a proper dry tent please let me know! Its much appreciated!

I would have some small oscillating fans on hand to use if needed. Allowing a breeze in the canopy is a must for transpiration out of the stomata. The 70-pint dehumidifier should be on hand to keep it dry just in case. You may not need it all the time but there will be times you will. You have to watch the humidity very closely when using any dehumidifier. You will have to spend a lot of time getting dialed in daily and that is key. Having all the equipment on hand just in case is a plus for any grow. I think you are on the right track. Keep us posted friend after you get set up.

never run a dehu in a tent that small, your weed will get too warm and it will hurt the aroma, you dont need any fans in there either. you can't pack it too tight though, having the proper amount in the tent is the key, not too much.

to dry all you need is to exhaust the air from the tent, a 6" fan will be plenty, have a speed control to turn it as low as possible while still moving enough air though the tent, it shouldn't be "windy" in the tent . place your carbon filter OUTSIDE the tent with the fan mounted to it blowing INTO the filter and a duct from the fan into the tent working to vacuum out the moist air. vents in the tent open to let fresh air in.

the room that the tent is in will be your "lung room". if the humidity is already low in the lung room like many places in the winter you don't need a dehu, if the climate is wet you use the dehu to keep the lung room dry and an AC to keep it as close to 60-65 as possible.

you also need a humidifier to add back moisture to the lung room in a climate that's too dry or for when the fresh cut weed has dried enough that it is no longer keeping the tent/room as humid as needed to slow the dry down for dense cultivars.

this is the dual stage controller I use, it will allow you to plug in both the dehu or fan and the humidifier and you will place the sensor inside the tent.

this is the humidifier I use for a lung room or a drying/curing room, not tent.

you don't need a fancy hanger system, ratcheting light supports and metak, pvc, or wooden rods and metal coat hangers work great.

A dehu can be difficult to use. You might set one to 60%, but it won't kick in at 62 then off at 58, as you might like. Instead, it's more likely to kick in at 70 and off at 50, killing you green.

Your weather is a big issue. If under 60% RH, you won't need the dehu

Does your tent have to be under negative pressure? I would like to see the fan in there (4" is huge) controlled by a humidistat. That being your means to dry the tent. The room could have a carbon extract, while the tent need not have one, if things play well.

The racks look useless, and coathangers will grow old quickly. How big are the bits you hang? Clothes airing racks can be useful. Often with string lines back n forth
