Well folks, inspired by a seperate thread I decided to offer up one of the coolest things I ever learned from one of the coolest people I ever talked to.
the medical exhale.
break up some good bud of your choice, preferably in a bubbler or a bong.
exhale all the air from your lungs as possible and take a long slow pull. as thick of smoke as possible.
and now instead of holding it in for 2-3 sec and releasing. your going to medical exhale.
(this is all done with 1 hit) with your lungs full of smoke, exhale about 1/4 of the smoke you have in your lungs and inhale fresh air and hold for a second. Then exhale about half of the smoke you have in your lungs and inhale as much fresh air as possible again n hold for a sec. Release about 2/3 of the smoke you have in your lungs and inhale and hold again. then fully release your smoke.
Dr. J taught me this and it makes sense if you think about it. when you fill your lungs up with smoke, the amount of smoke actually touching and absorbing your lungs is a fraction of the smoke you have in you. most of it is just floating and touching itself, not your lungs before you exhale. by inhaling fresh air in small bursts your effectively making your mouth a carb for your lungs, spinning the smoke inside your chest so more touches your lungs, and also intaking fresh air so you don't get oxygen deprivation.
give this method a shot and I promise you'll be feeling alot more irie on alot less weed. and of course. Thanks and we miss you Dr. J.
