In desperate need of help identifying bugs and eliminating!

Hello, as the title suggests, My grow area has been invaded by some sort of moth-like insects. I have seen one or two here and there since the beginning of my grow, but I would just squish them and I wouldn't see more for weeks. When I did, like I said, it would only be a few at a time so I thought nothing of it. Well, yesterday was one of the hottest days we've had here and my room got up to 87F. It is usually pretty steady at 75-77. On hot days it withh get to 80-82 at the hottest. The room is well insulated, but it reached 102F outside, so theres really nothing I could do. I provide a silica supplement (protekt) which is supposed to be good for heat stress and insects.
Well, I went into my room yeaterday, and I saw hundreds of these tiny little moth like flies flying around and crawling all over my plants. I squished and removed about 40-50 of them and it looked pretty good. I went back to check on them about 6 hours later, and it seemed like there were double the amount that there were in the first place!!!!
Im going to purchase some sticky cards and fly tape after work, bit I really need some help here. They don't seem to be causing any damage to the plants themselves so far, but, Id like to keep it that way.
Ive already posted on two other forums and got no responses other than "put sticky cards up." Ive checked my books, nothing. Ive checked grow sites for all the usual pests... Nothing. I need to know what these are, how to get rid of them for good, and if they will cause major damage.

Research True Bugs. Here's one article:

I suggest first spraying with Safer's Insecticide Soap for a mass kill. Don't spray with grow lights on. Then, since they have 5 stages of nymphs, spray with Azasol which is more systemic than other forms of Azadiractin. Also, for more systemic action, drench plant with Azasol. You'll need to stay on it to get rid of them. Good luck. -granger

Those look (yours are a little big for this..) and act like whiteflies, but the ones I've seen don't have black bodies. I don't think they're truebugs though, those are big brown beetle looking things I believe.

They might be Mealybugs, I saw a photo of a male that looked similar. Sorry I can't be more help, those are weird looking!

Be careful A) using a systemic product in a plant you're going to consume and B) using a systemic product, or any product that doesn't degrade in light, since you're about 4-5 weeks into flower it looks like. Make sure whatever you spray, that you follow up with another spray 3 days later and another spray 3 days after that. This ensures the eggs that are there now, that will hatch in a few days, will die and not be able to lay more eggs.

You're already forming buds...

I really can't stand spraying anything at all in flower. Were it my grow, I would tear down and start over.
