In Ca. need some answers

Could some one tell me what to do if the cops come to my house? As far as I am concerned I am legal I have a doctors rec. for 50 plants for me and 50 plants for my wife all elec. is also legal. If they come in will they still take me and if so can I sue them for what they destroy. I was thinking of telling them to take picks of all and if I agree with I would sing a paper stating this is correct then they could check out my doctor and I would not have to lose my plants or eq.

I would keep less plants, and grow them bigger. If you have 100 or more plants they won't care what your paperwork says.

If you have an exemption from limits from your doctor that states the amount you can have then your in a good position. Sounds like you are legit.
Themintman has a good suggestion though try and keep it under 99 so as to be under the fed limit. Somtimes cases will be referred to the feds if they are medical, but have over 100 plants.
What the cops will do if they know about your grow can vary greatly. A lot of it depends on what county you are in.
You are legal though with the doctors exemption so even if they did take all your stuff and try and wreck your life you would eventually win in court and possibly even be able to sue to get stuff back, but you want to avoid that at all costs cuz that's no fun.

I'm trying to convince a friend of this, but haven't been able to find any documentation. Can you elaborate? I don't know if the county Sheriff/City PD is REQUIRED to call them if there's over 99 plants, or if the Feds are just too busy with the 5K-100K plant grows to worry about the guys with 100-5K. Would love to see some precedent or case law on this!

your doctor records don't go to the police for anything. If the police came to your house for any reason, if you are within the confines of your COUNTIES limits, they will leave you be. Most likely they will leave you be anyway as long as your not being stupid. People have worked hard for years, for us to have these rights in california. excersize them, and be respectful

Possession and Cultivation Guidelines: If a person is acting as primary
caregiver to more than one patient under section 11362.7(d)(2), he or she may
aggregate the possession and cultivation limits for each patient. For example,
applying the MMP’s basic possession guidelines, if a caregiver is responsible for
three patients, he or she may possess up to 24 oz. of marijuana (8 oz. per patient)
and may grow 18 mature or 36 immature plants. Similarly, collectives and
cooperatives may cultivate and transport marijuana in aggregate amounts tied to its
membership numbers. Any patient or primary caregiver exceeding individual
possession guidelines should have supporting records readily available when:
a) Operating a location for cultivation;
b) Transporting the group’s medical marijuana; and
c) Operating a location for distribution to members of the collective or
cooperative.

bolded the parts to take note of really...

join a collective or legitimate co op. if the collective has 1000 members, you (in theory) could have 6000 mature plants. As outlandish and crazy and ballsy this would be, if it all checked out, and you really were ONLY supplying the members of the same collective without "profit" (can still have a salary and be non profit), then according to this you CAN crop a shitload of ganj.... as long as you can jump through the hoops.

I did every thing i could to do this wright iwe went our doctor and got all the recordc and then went to the new doc. i have posted what he gave us in the grow room it states the law and says on it 50 plants and 6 pounds each dryed bud with our drivers lic. on it thanks for all the responce

Your good just keep it under 99 and of course understand that if they were to come they might just take all your shit and make you prove it in court, but you would win in court with all that documentation to back you up.
