Any pic taken by a smartphone and posted online can be easily tracked to the exact location from where it was taken! Can anyone see the problem here?

Smart phones are piece of shit data miners.

I know many a moron that walk around with smart phones loaded with pics of their plants, showing them off to everyone.

EXIF data contains GPS Tags on smartphone. Hidden threat ? Not really for people who have a clue about smartphones. Welcome to new technologies. If you are not sure you fully master them do not use them close to your grow room.

Get a EXIF remover software and you're good to go. Or deactivate it on your phone.

You should always check once your exif they may also contain your name, user name or random stuff you do not want to link to some pictures... Originally it stores the camera and pictures details like exposure, etc...
