Im thinking nute burn...

ok so this is just a quick one. my babes ar ein their 3rd week of flower and my proud bubblegum lady is starting to show some nute burn (I think). its only minor at the moment so im just wondering if i should just leave it or if it is better to flush it out?
any ideas and advice as always are welcome

the tips of the leaves on the colas are bright yellow with some burn on them...its only on the very tips of them and isnt too bad...yet
heres the stats and a picture, this is the best pipc i can get of it as the camera has trouble focusing in on the tips of the plant.

Bubblegum from seed, 3rd week flower
4 gal soil, PH 6
Hesi Bloom nutes with ph adjuster
400w hps, distance is as close to the plpant without causing stress which is about 35cm - 40cm
temps are 77 - 80 lights on and 71 lights off
RH 45% - 50%
topped once, and clones taken about 3 weeks ago

lots of air blowing onto plant and a good exhaust fan is changing air constantly during lights on with a smaller fan blowing air in during lights off and a small fan blowing for circulation as well

they've been fed with half strength nuts twice with a plain watering in between feeding

should i just keep watering with plain water until it stops? i really want to avoid flushing if i can....

any more info jsut ask
thanks

im using a "indoor flower mix" bought at a nursery containing nutes (14-7-15), they have been in this soil four weeks now so i assume all the nutes have been used up from it by now.

my NL's have responded really well to the bloom ferts but i think the BG just got a little too much.

what do you think blackvelvit? flush or let it ride it out a bit more.

I'd flush if i were you. If it's only one plant it won't be that bad. I too dread the flush cuz to do a proper flush takes some time especially when you got more than one to do and your doing it by hand. If your only 3 weeks in though I'd recommend getting it under control. If you were around week 6 or something I'd say you could probably avoid the flush and just give em plain water till they finish, but you got a ways to go.

If the soil were too "hot", bottom leaves would be affected more. Looks more like calcium trouble. Maybe your dolomite lime if there was any has started to run out.

well i flushed now, sorry BV i must have been doing it while you replied....i gave em 60 litres of water and am hoping that will solve the problem otherwise ill see about the calcium.....

how much does flushing stress the plants?

and now i resume feeding them should i give em half dose or a full dose?

Were do you see calcium trouble?? Stop misleading people :pointlaug Anyway flush her and start back with half dose then inch up to full strength. Flushing should not stress the plant btw.

Thats fine.. if it were 'bad' the leaf would crinkle up and go dark green.

All I would do is dial back a bit or give it a couple straight waters.

If I was going to guess at anything it sure wouldnt be calcium 'trouble' [ 'trouble' is Blackvelvet/sproutcos newest method of diagnosis .. he doesnt call it a deficiency or an overuse lockout.. just lables it 'trouble' .. then tells the grower how to use toxic amounts of the 'troubled' item. ]

My guess would be a switch from veg to flower fert when they were flipped?.. when the plant started to pale from lack of N the flower ferts were boosted?

The only other thing I noticed is that the Hesi Bloom complex has odd NPK values for a bloom fert .. 4-3-5 .. looks like they expect you to get their PK booster to assist in later flowering. Other than that the fert looks like its got calcium in it so I dont have a clue what Blackvelvet is talking about.

Agreed. A simple flush to get rid of any build-ups, and a gradual return to full nutes should solve the problem, easy.
