Might spend like a week or two. What are some cool Canadian spots not too far from where washington state and Canada meet?

I pretty much wanna drink tasty ass brews, score some fine genetics, and see some cool shit. Canadians, help me out.

Agreed with Sativa Sisters.. there is a Marijuana Museum in Vancouver also.. very worth the trip. There are a couple of coffee shops where you can purchase beans.. and I think possibly partake. I'm only about 2 hours from the canadian border (in Id) December is going to be a tricky time of year to be traveling that way. It will be a great trip though.

Are there still storefront seed shops in Vancouver? Should I do a bunch of researching on which is best or will any Vancouver phone book be golden?

Also aside from lodgings (Sativa Sisters, ftw), what are some good restaraunts, hiking trails, fun shit to do? I'm going with family so buying seeds is kinda low on the priority list.

Vancouver has everything - ocean, mountains, islands.

The weed is everywhere - Hastings St., (follow your nose). Marc Emery has a shop there.

Grouse Mountain is good.

I don't know if you've been there before but when you go through customs/immigration, dress conservative and don't wear anything related to drug culture. No "free the herb" or Cypress Hill t-shirts.

If they ask you if you've ever smoked pot, your options are saying "no" and being allowed into the country, or saying "yes" and not being allowed to enter Canada.

I know of quite a few U.S. travelers to Canada who received extra attention at the border for as little as having an Allman Brothers shirt on. Two people I know admitted they'd smoked pot, in the past, and were banned from entering Canada for their honesty. I just heard of a Canadian who was asked the same question when entering the U.S. and now he's not allowed in the U.S.

The Naam's great, we go there everytime we're in Vancouver. There's another veg resturant in Kitsilano a few blocks north of the Naam, I think it's called the Green Garden? It's a pay by the gram buffet resturant.
