i would say you have a calcium and magnesium issue but what the cause of it is is hard to say without some more info. soil mix,ph in and ph out would be a start. bestoluck

Yeah, need a little more info if you please. The link in my sig should help a little. From here, it looks like they are a little burnt, from the looks of the leaf tips. That infirmary help form is designed to give us a better idea of what you have been doing, and what you have been adding etc.

i had it first in a beer cup with a bad soil mixture for the plant. it was good soil but i added organic dry time release fertilizer into the soil so i think it burned the plant, then i found out later its not reccomended for indoor gardening. oops.

so i transplanted it 12 days ago out of the beer cup and knocked off the loose soil so it doesnt contaminate its new home into this 1 gallon pot with a 50/50 mixture of fox farm ocean forrest soil and Botanicare ReadyGro areation formula(perlite, coco and wormcastings..). i havnt watered it since then i dont think. it needs a watering soon.

anything else you want to know?

Yeah, as a matter of fact there is. What's the yellow thing with the green spike through it, on top of your soil? No pest strip? Was the plant yellowing between the veins before you transplanted? I see sand, looks like, on the top layer. Is there an infestation you are not telling about?

ive allways had some fungus gnats but i wouldnt say that its a bad infection now, its been worse before, doubt the gnats caused the problem. but they do suck! they yellow thing on the green stick is a sticky strap that got recently to help fight em. i picked up a 'doctor doom' bug bomb that im going to use today too. hopefully that helps alot.

My guess is it is still in a little shock from the beer cup dillemma. As you can see, she is a little toasty around the edges of oldest growth. The yellowing was also caused by this hot soil you had them in.(lockout) I see the new growth is pretty lush, so I think you are headesd in the right direction.

I think she is maybe a little mag deficient. But nothing serious yet. Try adding some cal/mag to the next watering. She needs to adjust to her new home for a few days. She should be coming around shortly.

Oh yeah, hope you don't take this the wrong way, but, your "anything else" comments make you come across as smug. Made me almost want to ignore you.

It's cool brother :joint: Just wanted to let you know.

Also, it's been bugging me about the fungus gnat thing. I'm thinking the larve in the soil could also be causing the yellowing? I think I've heard it around somewhere here about them doing that. Covering the top with sand will keep them from coming or going...but what if the larve are still there? In your soil. Those little fuckers can still do damage. If yellowing persists, maybe look into it.

good tip im looking for sand asap. the larvae can only hurt the plant for so long then they turn into gnats and have to fly around but they die cuz they cant fly out through the sand.

but what sucks is they still live int he drainage holes....

allright...i bombed the room the plants are in. no more bugs. yay! i used doktor doom fogger. i had to be out of the room for 2 hours and it was ok for the plants to be in the lights on as long as no air was venting outside the room. that was 2 weeks ago.

and they now look just as bad but now have some brown spots on the leafs starting from the outer edges of the leafs. pics tomarrow.
