Im back! Critique needed - Repost

Found my original ICMag username and managed to remember the password :):):)! Think I may have indulged a bit much these past 6 years! Anyways, here's the repost

Deciding to go with organic soil, to start at least. If I like it, I will likely go to a drip/blumat system. The plan is to run 32-40 plants in the 4x8 in 3-4 gallon pots, under 2 1000Ws. Heres what the design/shopping list looks like based on my space. I am pretty out of the loop nowadays in regards to which brands are best... well, in most regards actually. So any input would be greatly appreciated, especially if you prefer another brand to what I have selected.

By no means an old timer, not sure if I ever will be, in regards to growing at least. Thats the beauty of it, infinite knowledge to be gained. It becomes a passion. That being said, I am very happy to be back, and hope to be contributing useful knowledge at some point lol

In the mean time, I am still trying to hash out some details. We have decided to enlarge the original area a bit, for a variety of reasons. The new space will be as follows:

- L 10'10" x W 6'1" x H 6'10" - 450 cu. ft.
- There will be a 1/4 copper water line running into the room, which will be hooked up to a bucket with a float valve. This will ultimately end up providing continuous water supply to my plants via blumat.
- I am aiming to have the room fully sealed. It will be framed with 2x4's, insulated, 3/4 plywood on the "public" side of the room, 5/8" or 3/4" drywall on the "private" side. I will be lining both side of the insulation with a liner for added sealing. I will then hit all of the cracks, nooks and crannies with some form of caulk/silicone type sealant (suggestions welcome!).
- Assuming I am still doing ok in terms of my sealing of the room, my next step will be my air intake. I was really hoping to just have a passive intake. Plan was to run 6" insulated ducting along the floor joists to where a basement window resides in a locked storage room (10'-15' away from the room, at most... should have taken that measurement, woops). Throw some plywood up over the joists, and add a vent cover. Want the ability to open/close the window if needed to control temps. I have a feeling this might not work?

Sorry for the spew, dont have many opportunities to get on here. Starting to run out of time and need to hash out few remaining details... big remaining details. Heres my questions

- Do I use an inline fan/intake filter to draw fresh air into the room? Or would passive be ok?

- Fan sizes, and how many?
- How would you set it up?

re-cap on the room specs

- 450 cu. ft. (hopefully) sealed room
- 332 cu. ft. flower tent (4x8)
- 166 cu. ft veg/prop tent (4x2)
- Fresh air coming in from basement storage room, just above a window that can be open/closed as needed
- Exhausted air exiting the room and out through the chimney.
- Two 1,000W HPS, sealed reflectors.

I was thinking 10" Hyper fan (1065cfm i believe...around there), matching Phresh filter. Reason I am 'guessing' large, is because I want to be able to dial the fan down to nearly inaudible levels, while retaining enough circulation to safely ventilate the room. While I dont understand all of the math involved, I did to some basic math to calculate assumed pressure loss..

So thats scrubbing the tent. My next thought was to scrub any residual smell in the room via 6" Hyperfan/Phresh filter, while also drawing out the heat from the two 1K HPS.

How am I doing so far? Please let me know if my logic is, well, not logical. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
