Also just to put it out there these same trolls some with same names here , and some with several other sock puckets follow me around here or everywhere I post trying to cause me trouble, not that I really care , but that's why I'm very hostile to certain people.

That and the few wanky mods who allow it and fan the trolls( most are fine but a few ) who think they own this site and chase people off regularly.


Man the old days were golden

I'm new here and have no idea who you are, but I'm sorry to see you go. I'm watching one of your ads blinking at the bottom of the page, so I know you've been here and put time and effort into this site (and this plant).

The "old days" really were golden...and for the most part it was the people we knew, so your loss will only add to why the new days aren't quite as cool. I hope you decide to hang out and ignore the trolls, but understand the need to go when you feel it. We all share a love for this wonderful plant. Take care, friend

Certain mods are famous here over the net for constantly attacking Certain members.

Couldn't someone ask mods to only jump in when there is a need , they a mod not a normal member so should try stay out of drama unless they need to step in ( again it's only a mods or 2 I've ever had issues with that i can think off ?) And they the Nevil hate fan club

Just my opinion - In an ideal world there would be no seed sellers allowed at all in cannabis forums. Or at the very least they should be forced to comment only in their subforum. But I guess the forums costs have to be payed some way or another

Cannabis forums are for growers to share info and network, not for breeders to make everything about themselves and get their ego stroked. I think this is a common problem around cannabis forums, where sheeple for some reason treat these breeders like rockstars, lick their boots and place them on pedestals they just don't deserve. I am also in a guitar forum and there would be no reason for a Fender representative to participate in users' discussions. They would be laughed out of the forum. Same with automobile forums. Same goes for every hobby, pretty much.

This idiotic cannabis hype machine tries to shove down our throats this idea of breeders being like autheurs or artists. Seed sellers are just people who take your money in exchange for seeds. They are not on our team. Noone who takes your money is on your team. There should be a distance between the consumer and the sellers, where there is zero influence of any person who has any economic interest, on the quality of the discussions.

I realise this is conoisseur genetics subforum by the way, just my general thoughts on forums and breeders.

There big pharmacy and guys making medicine, completely different.

Im still a 1 man company who grows produces all his seed himself, unlike 99.9% of the seed companies, so i consider myself still the team.
I also run the whole show to , orders , packing seeds, marketing, sales, emails etc etc , everything that involves Connoisseur genetics, a 1 man company.

Like I say constantly if your a long term member of icmag.com and do grow logs regularly, it's an honour to provide you free seed packs for life as long as you run a log , FREE seed pack and free shipping . ( and 2 free packs once you completed that log ) 3 packs for FREE ? , sounds pretty good to me , what other company offers something like this

Grow logs are a dying breed these days thats why I offer the grow log deal, to try and get more people on board as people don't like running logs anymore, don't know if it's pressure, time , trolls etc etc ? , just way less grow logs run thesw days

You got your own subforum for advertising. So what's the problem keeping your ads, offers, links etc. in your vendor subforum like other vendors keep their stuff in their subforum and don't make a drama like you do now!? Sorry but i just don't understand why you should have extra rights that other vendors don't have, that makes no sense!

Yeah I didn't mean this as a personal criticism towards you, more like my general opinion on having breeders in cannabis forums. Not saying it's wrong to participate if the rules allow it, just saying I don't like it.

I was thinking more specifically of when the mars hydro representative comments on other people's grows or threads, clearly not because they care, but because they know the added exposure benefits their brand. I think that's lame.

To me being a one man company is no different in the sense there is still an economic incentive in participating in the forum, that's all. Giving away seed packs is nice but again, this is not in exchange for nothing, the potential benefit of having people see a growlog far outweighs the cost of 3 seed packs.

Not to make myself the hero, but I personally have given away literally thousands of seeds of the repros I made in exchange for nothing, and asking for nothing in return. I am not a breeder or have any economic interests in the cannabis industry. A company giving away free seeds in exchange for publicity is not altruistic or worthy of praise at all in my opinion. It's just a standard marketing technique in the social media era. That's what I meant when I said "our team". Again not a personal attack towards you, just my idea of what makes a forum good.

Not full logs these days, but yes every project I make i document with pics/videos all the way through from clone to seed harvest , or seed runs through to bud , but mostly on Instagram to be honest, as I can throw up a quick 15 second video with minimal time needed.

Instagram I post pics of flower runs , seed runs and anything to do with Connoisseur genetics.
