Ha you guys are fast, I was just in the process of posting details. hah

This grow consists of completely unknown and random strains that I picked out of my seed stash. Definately not bagseed but we will see what we come up with. I already harvested 2 AF plants that were about 10 inches tall and were just about done flowering before I switched to 12/12.

They are being duel lit by 1 400 watt MH with Sunmaster Warm Deluxe bulb and a 48 inch T-5 with daylight bulbs. Ballast is on shelf along with other electric components to conserve actual growing space.

There are 7 plants total in 7 gallon plastic nursery pots. They were started in FFOF in 1 gallon plastic pots and the current soil mix consists of a combination of FF Original Planting Mix, FF Happy Frog and perlite.

They are being fed FF TigerBloom and Earthjuice Grow every other watering at low dosages to prevent over-fertilization.

I keep the door cracked during dayhours so that the temperature stays under 80 degrees. At night, a fan that is on 24 hours a day circulates air throughout the space.

Three of the plants are a little on the tall side so where LST'd to make an even canopy.

Plants were labeled and clippings were taken before the switch to 12/12 so that I can save any exceptional specimens.

With this grow, I am trying to basically take advantage of all the space I dont have and attempt to achieve a substantial harvest from minimal grow space.

Hey fellas...A few of my plants are showing red hairs all the way down the stalk and its day 3 of flowering... What the heck could be the problem here? The plants look fine I dont get it... I was thinking because there is a fan in the closet at night but the door is shut and there is no real ventilation until morning. I might have to move them.

Pics of the problem at hand... Top ones are new growth, bottom ones are burnt pistils. I was thinking that it could have been from lack of water for a week, My plants wernt drooping but the 7gallon pots were light as a feather when i watered them.

... harvest time fast flowering dude ...
i wouldnt worry - if the plant keeps on putting weight on everything should be fine

i would switch to a 600w hps (will increase yield and doesnt cost the world) and its a far better spectrum - your plants looking pretty healthy but you might want to have some ventilation and a filtre (or seal the room and add co2 )

There is a number of factors that will make the hairs change color. As long as there are no male parts anywhere you should be ok. My first grow was in a closet just like yours and I did the same thing, door open during lights on and closed but without a fan during lights off. It worked just fine. Happy growing.

Thanks guys... I have grown in closets numerous time in different places with many different types of ventilation... Im a very careful grower and am not a newbie in any way so I was stumped when I saw this... Do you guys think I should move them to a bigger room with the ac or see how this works out?

loooks like a double quarter pounder - those t5's are bright and dont melt all your crystals like HID lights , making for frostier buds

i would keep them ther but would try to seal it a little better and maybe add some co2 (if havent done before there are various ways but with a bottle will be the easiest) ... looking very pretty!

Okay guys, Its definately a light leak... What I plan to do is put up a comforter on the inside of the door to help block off all the leaks... Hopefully this is good enough.

Hey guys.... I know this is a super late update... But I just was able to get my photos off of my cam. This random selection didnt come out the best. Some of it was good, some of it was bad... But it was a good experience like any other grow. My plants stretched all to hell after I started flowering. Im pretty sure it was due to the heat build-up and the reddish spectrum of my mixed spectrum blub. (I have been noticing stretch the last two grows with this bulb.)Im going to try to use a regular MH bulb next run. Also waiting to long for a few of the other planst to mature before flowering. I will be using a different method on my current grow...

The strains werent that great. There was 2 decent ones... 3 unsatisfactories.

My next grow should turn out alot better... BUt anyways... heres the pics... They are shot around 55 days.
