if you had to choose between a Cannon Rebel XS or a Nikon L310, which would you choose?

i found a nice used Cannon Rebel XS w/ carrying case, 2 extra flash attatchments for $325

my wife on the other hand wants to get a "black friday deal" on the Nikon L310 for $99.00

i want the Cannon

whats everyones opinions?
