What the differences between these two pics of buds? One looks underdeveloped with white specs on it. The other looks like glistening goodness. Whenever i get bud like the first i always get a headache. Anyone have any ideas on why?

totally different strains..one is from the states i think the other BC or something.

Is one sample (white specks) contaminated?
How does it smell?
How does it taste?

I'd suggest getting a microscope & inspecting up close.

The pics ya posted dont have high enough of a resolution to get a good look. Maybe get a clear macro shot that shows the individual trichomes clearly, if you can.

mj,nice i lik multiple answers.also in diff. ways to grow,the tips are great,they hit u somewhere in growing from gurus jsust adjust to inviorment.watching plants change grow from diff. lighting situation u learn a lot never beyond expectations...the home work is were its at.loving its xxx cool stuff...thnx everbody+++mm/peace

If you get a head ache from a certain one it could have not been flushed properly or the grower could have used PGR's which won't leave the plant even after the flush. Hard to tell from the pic so I would go with what was used in the grow.
