My friends and i were sailing back to england from paris via the ferry, we were drinking tea in the restaurant aboard the ferry, my friend had a 1/4 of an ounce in a empty cigarette packet which he left on the table by mistake, we left the restaurant to go downstairs to sit in the car, ferry was docking at this point

5 mins in the car and i heard a knock on the drivers side window, it was a waiter with a red bow tie and a red waistcoat and glasses, he looked at me and smiled and said " sir i think you left this behind on the table" smiled again and walked off, i opened the crush cigarette box and the weed was still inside..

we left the restaurant tp go downstairs and sit in the car ready to drive out, and the cars were queued up bumper to bumper so he auctaully went out of his way to identify us and get the weed back to us, he dint have to do that, he could have kept it, thrown it away, or informed the police..

working in bars always had its benefits, this was one of them, and no! I had no intentions of driving around looking for the patrons who were miles away by the time I took to cleaning their empty tables.

no i did not, it all happened too fast, by the time i said thanks, he turned around and walked off, i guess he was at work and went back up to clean the restaurant, he only came down to give us the weed back..
