If I'm 36 hours into revegging a plant do I have to go through with it

I switched to flower on Friday and one plant started getting slimey roots so I took it out of the room and I think I'm just going to move it to soil. The lights have been on for about 36 hours. Should I just stick to the plan and do the transplant?
Has the reveg cycle already started? And do I need to worry about a hermie that early into flower? It was only in flower for 2-4 days
I know how to move the plant over I've done it before with no problems, I'm just worried about the light cycle causing a hermie.
I think I'd have more success going into soil for flower if it won't cause a hermie

Get your plant settled in soil....allow deep enough hole and cover root system, careful that you don't injure a lot of roots.

Then set the schedule back to 18/6, see how she does before starting flower stage.

Just watch for hermetic traits.

What's that Prodex or whatever foil cover over the medium? That's probably what caused the slimy roots. Good luck. -granger

The 12/12 lighting of the bud room pretty much halts root growth.
I did autopsies on all my plants after harvest for a six month period to see how the roots fared.
Recent transplants put to bud still had the transplanted root ball in the same condition it was in when transplanted. Two or three strands of root on each side was it. Four inches of new media on the sides and bottom remained unused the entire budding cycle.

I am poor at prioritizing information and to me aridbud's post understated the importance of leaving the plant at 18/6 until after the growth spurt that starts when the roots reach full capacity once more.
Transplanting is a shock and giving the recovery time needed will go a long way towards eliminating any added hermie causing stress.

Your cola will thank you.
