Hey fellas, I'm about 47 days into flower with some beautiful OG Kush plants. My grow area is about 4 x 4 and I have 8 plants going in hydrofarms. I was using a couple 4" vortex fans hooked up to air cooled hoods (running a 1000w Lumatek ballst turned down to 75%) and there was too much stench leaking outside. I think the filters were the Canfan 2600's. Worked perfectly fine up until the middle of flower.
I've purchased a Panasonic Whisperlite and some Canfan 33 filters but couldn't hook them up right away because it's a fuckload of work in such a confined space with fully flowered plants. Finally got them hooked up last night after about 12 hours of work. Mounted the fan vertically and have the filter sitting in a perch in the corner of the room. Going to branch the ducting out to the second smaller air cooled hood after this grow. That way I can grow perpetually. The room has a 4 x 4 sort of nook, small walk way and then a small area that I veg in which'll have a filter there too.
Anyway, I put a fucking plug in air freshener in there in a panic and had a big gallon of Onagel sitting to help with the smell. The Onagel hasn't ever posed a problem but this is the first time my dumbass put an oil based plug in freshener in the room.
Some buds fell off and I let them dry out. And my dad, being curious and not listening to me, decided to roll them up and smoke them after they dried out. It smelled like perfume!!! I was defoliating and removing fan leaves and was left with a big ball of finger hash... so I smoked that too and it tasted the same!! Now I'm really paranoid about ruining my first grow. Do you think it'll be fine if I flush it and make sure to properly dry, harvest and cure it????
I may just be freaking out. Growing in hydro using the Lucas formula with powdered Koolbloom and Bud Candy. Could be the bud candy and left over nutes in the plant, because it obviously wasn't flushed and intended for smoking.. but now I can't help but wonder. Should I flush the shit out of it with Florakleen and just keep feeding a watered down Lucas + KB + BC until I do the final flush? Please help my stupid ass!!
