Ideas for new cannabis strain names

I like it, but isn’t that more like a term for the strain-naming game itself?

Is a ‘strain’ just the seeds of a pollen toss/catch? There’s more to it, yes?

How about, “I want your money so buy this polyhybrid clusterfuck.”

I would buy “generic clown car” just to reward the honesty involved.

"Short Lived" - describing the length of effects.

"S'pposed To" - describing the mildest of flavors.

"At Least It's Cheap!" - all commercially available weed in rec legal states.

I do like that since GG#4 became popular, people have started numbering their clones instead of renaming them. That at least makes it some what easier to keep track of things. However, someone naming something #78 when they only had 5 plants really sort of infers they select from large populations even when that is NOT the case. I've seen this tactic utilized and it's shady.

I really do prefer the A x B naming scheme for seed lines and then names for isolated cuts.

I think in future large seed sorts though, I'm just going to use a standardized number / letter grid for reference for a 72 cell seed tray.

Each genetic line can have it's own pattern. Make a spread sheet for a few thousand entries and as you plant new seeds of that line, just assign the next appropriate entry for the seed to keep a progressive database.

i was tossing around Coney Island Dog or Alley Oop for a GMO/Cheese dog cross. I like the P.U. acronym. lol Melting Pot would be interesting but i'm trying to avoid using cookies.

I've always wanted to name a strain Garden of the Gods that is a hybrid of a few old breeders work. never had anything picked out but i liked it.

The guy who taught me how to grow had a strain like that. When I asked him what he called it, he said, "Pot. Now shut the fuck up and smoke it."

I thought indica was a strain name for about 15 years or so because I bought a bag of great bud from a hippie in a parking before a dead concert in the late 1980s and he said it was indica while we were making the transaction. Somehow I managed to avoid learning what the real meaning was behind that word until early this century.

Last night I violated a woman with the overpowering stench of my homegrown megamarijuana.
She had clearly never encountered anything with such an unusual and intense odor before and was irresistibly driven to exit the vicinity immediately as if forced by knee-jerk reflex. Based on this experience, I'm now calling the hybridized monsterweed in the jar I was smoking out of last night "Nasal Dominator". I planted these seeds of Nasal Dominator x Macob Kush this morning.
