whats up guys. i got a couple 50" x 50" reservoirs and when i ordered them i never ordered the covers with them. i figured i could just use some cardboard or something to block the light but now i realize its too big for something like that. does anyone have any ideas of something i can use to block the light plus can also get wet?

You could always cover them with some panda paper or a tarp if you are looking to do it on the cheap. The better route to go would be a some marine grade plywood with a nice epoxy cost on it.

the ply wood would be real thick and heavy though right? i thought of the tarp but i dont wanna do that cause the middle would sink and go in the water.

theres something i can use but i forget the name of it. this hydro store in canada had this hydro system. they took an ebb n flow tray and then they laid a hard white sheet of some substance on top of it. they drilled holes in the sheet to fit net pots in it. after that they put sprayers underneath to have a constant flow of water on the clone roots in the net pots. do you guys know the name of these white sheets im talkin about? sounds like it could work cause there waterproof. in the system the sheet blocked all the light from shining on the roots. it was a real thin light and sturdy material
