composting using earrthworm septic treatment"
from their site http://www.acleanearth.com/earthworm_complete_septic.htmlthe 10.3oz bottle says it is good for up to 1500Gal per month septic tank.
so i used google converted oz to grams and got 292g, devided by 1500 and got 0.1946666...g/Gal
or 0.09733333...g/halfGal
the idea is to take organics and compost them in milk jugs or other jugs, also an idea sort of from the brewer air plug/bubbler that gos on fermenting beer bottles, is to run the out put through a carbon filter or some sort of system to destinkify everything so an accellerated compost (or a normal one...i guess i will see) is possible indoors without bad odor.
so i put about 1.5g each in some half gallons with urine, the box the earthworm powder came in, and watermelon rind.
so also there is the idea to take human (own feces, as it is nasty enough) and treat it initially of bacteria (may not be neccessary if the microbes in the earthworm septic product win out) put it in a jug and add urine, and what other organics that are available. and treat it. the destinking method will probably need to be worked out for this.
i remember reading here that someone's plant got through a crack in a sewer pipe and became a monster. the post was in relation to H2S, Hydrogen sulfide gas and plant growth and while H2S may be present in sewer pipes, I don't know about a small composting of ones own poo/pee . H2S is soluble in water though. The only concern I have here is the left over enzymes attacking the seed/plant/clone.
what do you think?
