I just checked out Ben Jammin's threads at PG. He has one grow thread saying that it is his first grow in July. Vertical bulb etc. Doesn't claim to have DPD or Black Russian.
His other grow related thread is on Blue Velvet ( lucky stiff got frees BV seeds!).

I think it may be someone else using his name. He should clear it up himself. I posted on one of his threads...doesn't seem his style. To publically post a thread of his first grow and then submit pictures before his first crop was done...

Honestly, I've tried to trace the origin of the photo but I do so much deleting all the time that I think it's lost forever. Oh well. I'm gonna print a retraction and whichever pic you all choose, the frog can send my way to appear in the next possible issue's Pix of the Crop.

Back on the subject.

A. If your image was on a "transportable medium" then you have a copyrite on it.

Is a hard drive transportable? Yes it is . Just like a CD is transportable.

You have a legit copyrite and HT should pay you for the use of the pic as well as punitive damages.

B. HT and that Cervantes guy have been busy ripping off the web for photos and content for years. If you look at Cervantes last book and then dig up and old copy of the OGF faq. you will see what I mean.

They have no accountability and nobody there is a professional anymore. Most everybody with any scruples has abandoned HT.

Man that is so whack! At least it looks like you will get some resolution through High Times. As for Subcool, thats pretty low. I have to say that is really surprising that he wouldnt even ask you, and then refused to send you a T-shirt. I dont understand how Subcool could rationalise this, makes no sense to me. Its just common sense, normal decent behaviour to reward you if he was using your pics to sell his beans. He should have given you pic credits and sent you a few packs of beans and the T-shirt. I dont get it.

Man that sucks, bro. But I'd be pretty flattered, hehe.

.........ironically........the breeder of those beans has also used these same pics, without permission or even a measly photo credit, to sell his "Double Purple Doja" on that other site (that has 2 b's in the name)........i kindly brought it up to him and inquired about a Tshirt......he asked if i was proud to see my pics selling his beans and told me where to send my $25 per shirt.......whatever...........i would freely let anybody use my pics, really, i would just appreciate being asked first, or at the very least notified.......thank you.

I guess I don'y pay enough attention I thought it was flattery to use your Picture natefrog It is a strain we used to sell and you did a great job growing it out for sure but I have many many many pictures of all our strains bro I wont insult you again and it wasn't my intention to do so.
