ICMAG Members Music Collaboration Thread

Thought I'd start this thread up, it seems like a good idea!

This is a place for all ICMAG members to meet up and communicate to collaborate with each other for songs. You can meet with members locally that you know or are meeting for the first time, and you can send tracks to other members internationally over the internet or through the mail :smile:
So let's make some good vibrations together. Hopefully we can start having an annual ICMAG Members Music Collaboration CD

I'm a guitarist, mostly classical. It would be nice to meet up with other musicians. I have some recordings, pm me :smile:

This is a GREAT idea!

Ive been recording myself and a few local bands for a few years and playing guitar for 12. Now that Im back and settled, I can set my recording gear back up... Im trying to dig around to find my old recordings.

Would love to make some kickass tunes with some fellow ICers!! An annual CD is really a great idea. Maybe the 420 cup needs a House Band

ive worked with music for a while now, and ive figured out that my place isnt behind an instrument...its behind the soundboard. If there is anything i can do to help, just drop me a line. it would be cool to hear what all of us came up with.

I swear I'm not as bad as drummers, though! Got a project studio that I can import/export raw audio/wavs if necessary.

Cool, I have to set up some recording software on my new computer, going to try Sonar or Cubase to use. Will be using usb through my Zoom G2.1u so should be alright sound quality. Don't know about music quality though.

Soooo when we gonna get this show on the road...got a WELL respected major recording artist,with a new studio.....if we can put something down he can mix..all digital serious equip....he was my stoner buddy on tour............get at it boys...my major influences are TooL and Deftones....I love sexy basslines....mixed w/serious kick&hihat werk...........heay now were talkin......................Mm

MoneyMike! Thats what Im talking about... Deftones are the shit...Stephan's guitar tone and his approach in general is damn unique!!

Im all for getting this goin on... Ive got some analog recording equipment but I assume we would all have to be using the same digital software to make this work!

Great idea! I play guitar and bass, I'm currently trying to master the Ukulele and trying to make my Shakuhachi flute earn it's keep!
I mostly like to play acoustic, seems to be less of a hassle to get together with friends and play that way.
Hell, if this gets done, there could be an ICmag house band
