Alright ICMag, this is my first grow EVER! I decided to try to do it right, right off the get-go. Let me know what you think... everything is brand new, and I am expecting suggestions, questions, and comments!

looks like ur not "F" ing around! what are your lights? fans? where in the house are you running this? what strain are you running. Looks good so far! keep it up

Sorry guys, had a long description of everything typed out, but my comp f*cked up on me and lost about 1/2 hr worth of typing...
Anyway, Seedling/Clone room (CFLs/T8s) is 2' deep, 4' wide, 2' tall. The Veg. room is 2' deep, 4' wide, 4' tall... minus about a foot for the hood/fans. Flower room, obviously is a vert. setup. 5' deep, 4' wide, 6' tall... minus about 6 inches or so for my fan, filter, and ducting.
Strain... little bit of everything... bunch of bagseed I picked from a few good bags I had. Initially it started with 2 of my buddies plants (still vegging with my 6), he didn't have the money or any of the correct equip. to make them do anything. I got them at about 8-10 inches tall. Not sure if you guys can tell or not, but all of the 8 plants are LSTed.
Lights... Seed/Clone = 4 26w (100w) Daylight CFLs, 3 48" Daylight T8s, and 3 48" Warm White T8s...... Veg. = A 400w CMH Philips Retro-White in a HTGSupply MaxWing hood w/ custom exhausting..... Flower = 1 Growbright 400w HPS bulb and a 400w Vertical CMH Philips Retro-White.
Fans - Seed/Clone has a passive/dampered intake and exaust to the Veg room. The Veg room, has a 6" fan blowing towards the lights/plants, along with a 10" fan when temps are warmer in summer. Flower room has a 10" fan blowing straight up at the lights, and a 10" fan blowing down from the ceiling at an angle towards the plants/lights. My 3 ballasts also have a 10" fan blowing on them. Also, the Veg. room is exausted into the Flower room with a 250CFM 6" duct booster on a dimmer switch, very short run to the flower room. The Flower room is exhausted outside thru a DIY scrubber with a 250CFM 6" duct booster on a dimmer switch... only about a 4ft run to outside. Setup seems to work good. The CMHs also seem to burn pretty cool, very easy to keep temps in mid-70s.
This a basement grow. Intially had everything under the Seed/Clone room lights, 6" fan, and a space heater, but... my girls outgrew those lights and space.

Looks pretty good so far, and the plants look very healthy at this stage.
My only hesitation is that the clone room might be too hot, due to heat rising from the veg room. Clones are very heat-sensitive during their first 7 to 10 days. They like ambient temps around 70 or lower, with root-zone around 80. Temps too cool might slow them down, but temps too hot can kill them in many different ways.

Thats a valid point for sure. I don't think I'll too much of a problem with it. I actually just closed my intake line for a while this morning because the veg. room was only reaching about 70. Last night I am sure it was in the mid 60s which I don't particularily want it that low. But, I am still fine tuning.
Thoughts on the clone room, the passive intake actually comes into the room high and vents to the veg. room on the shelf floor, and the exhaust in the veg room is up high. I figure any heat produced in the seed/clone room will be pulled across the room and down into the veg room via the veg room exhaust. And, soil being darker, the seeds/clones should be able to root alright since the darker soil will absorb the heat more-so and keep the rootzone warmer.
Also, if anyone is interested, I don't have the plants in the flower room right now is because the top bulb (Vertical Retro-White bulb) is actually no good, I recieved a bad one, and my new one will be here Monday. So, Tuesday will kick off my 12/12 cycle for all of the plants. Once they go in there, I plan on starting some feminized Northern Lights and Chronic seeds I got from a buddy and see how that goes.
Here is what I am thinking... once the seeds pop the soil, I am going to go 2 weeks in the seed/clone room, then 6 weeks in the veg. room, and finally to roughly 8 weeks in the flower room. Which in turn should produce a harvest every 2 months. That is my plan, anyone think that should work?

LOL i didnt see the vert either and my comments are never intended to citisize' just to help if you feel i have the experience to do so.......one thing,if you intend to carry the lower lamp feed cable that close to the other lamp it will need sheilding.

Yeah, I did wonder if that was going to get too hot or not. I have extra cord to work with, so if I have to I will string it away from the other lamp. And actually the top light in the flower room will be the HPS, and the lower light will be the CMH.
What do you guys think? CMH on top or bottom?

Just planted 4 Northern Lights and 4 Chronic in the new seed/clone room. Planted in a 1/2 and 1/2 mix of FFLW and MG Organics... its all I had decent for seeds. Planted in those cheap plastic cups from the grocery store, 4, 3/8" holes drilled in the bottom/sides. We'll see what happens. I've got the cooler air from outside dampered right off for the seed/clone room, but there is air movement via the hole in the 4" hole inbetween the veg. and seed rooms.
