I'm getting quite jealous. Here in Belgium we have allmost no nature, especially not in the north where i live and certainly not the great outdoors like you guys still have. The closest i ever came to rough nature was a 100 kilometer hike in sweden, not once did i see a single sign of human presence, an awesome experience. Where i live natural reserves are so small it is impossible to get lost in them.
I like fishing but don't do it here because there's hardly any fish in our polluted rivers. Enjoy your location and the fishing, seems like it doesn't get any better than where you live.

Aw hell yeah, Nokuy!

Many moons ago, when I lived in the North, we used to do quite a bit of fishing. Summertime meant bass, perch, and the mighty Northern Pike, winter had walleye, perch, etc through the ice. Ice fishing kicks ass! Unfortunately, it's a bit warmer where I love now, and no body of water freezes enough to walk on. So these days my ol ice fishin auger is covered in dirt and clay from digging holes for outdoor plots LOL. At least it aint goin to waste.
And yeah, I'm with you...fishing is a great way to unwind.
Happy fishing to ya!

PS- mmmmmmm lake perch....two bites of the most delicious fish you've ever eaten :yummy:
