Ice day 50, purple trics

So ya check out this shot, purple trics. Obviously just genetic but how will I know when to harvest now lol..clear...cloudy...amber...um purple?! lol I also haven't formally introduced myself. Used to be on og under a diff name nice play u guys got here.

wait for most of the hairs to turn color and dry. There really isnt any other way I can think of now.

Thanks Most of the pistils have turned orange I'd say 75% Still new pistils growing...some are growing green rather than white...looks kinda interesting. I will prolly just stick to my 70 days should be done, got a ww to harvest too it is looking mostly cloudy clear right now no amber.

Wait it out. The resin glands will only grow bigger/more potent if you let the plant go untill 50% of total pistols are dryed/colored.

The pistils are already about 75% turned orange on both my white widow and ice 25% are still white and new pistils are still forming. The ice is from Nirvana. Thanks for the welcome all of you, ya lou I think both the ice and white widow r 8-10 week strains so 20 days more should be enough, if not I can let em go a bit more. I didn't take cuttings this time around(first time with ice), still have 8 more seeds so could be another purple pheno seed. I may reveg but I'll decide if it is worth it after I have a sample in a couple weeks. Thanks for the interest and warm welcome guys.

HA....the gene for a purple trich is worth more than How she'll smoke.......nobody that has ever been confirmed has breed to get that trait "stable"....

I dunno, I'd rather have some buds with nice amber trics that really tore me up then some buds with purple trics that doesn't really get me that high. So after I have a sample I will decide wether or not I will go through the stress of reveging her. Heres 1 bud shot for you lol(I don't really like posting alot of pics).

just remember you can always make seeds with the reveged plant with a more potent male or cross a male and a know potent female of ice then take a male and go back at her.

Theres no garuntee the purple tric characteristics would remain but it would be fun to experiment with if I had the time and space. I am moving into a bigger place in a different state in octoberish.

just remember a sample doesnt do much justice a plant gets most off thier resin and such during the end of a cycle and it gets better after a proper drying and curing process so if the high isnt much now it doesnt mean it wont be much later

I have noticed alot of purple phenos are from nirvana.

I have noticed alot of purple phenos are from nirvana.

I have had two purple phenos, both where not supposed to turn purple.
1. is white rhino, it turned completley purple. didnt get me high worth jack.
the green pheno much better. do a search for purple rihno and there it is.
2. I had chrystal from nirvana do the sam thing. one purple and one normal green color, again the purple one is weakest.
I almost think nirvana mixed up some purple seeds in there. twice with me.
And ive seen lots of other so called purple phenos comming from nirvana.
nothing wrong with nirvana seeds.

damn. Now seedboutique is out of ICE. There are a few strains of theirs I still need. ICE, ak-48, Afghani and there is one other I cant remember the name to.
