IC Skiing/Snowboarding thread

Snowbird and Alta this week, then Aspen, Copper, and Breck in two weeks (and camping all the way!)... I've been dreaming of my first day out since closing day last year, and I'm about to lose it with all this anticipation!! I can't freakin' wait!!!

I hit alyeska last sunday. Twas a bit chilly....2F...so i only did 5-6 runs. Warmed up this last week and snowed 6 inchs last night....hatcher pass is lookin good for tommorow.

My new board should come in today maybe.....I picked a brand new FLOW 160 icon snowboard....cant wait!!!!

Silverton is my favorite place to ride so far in this lifetime. Only been there once last march but it was DEEP & STEEP!

Unfortunately I have had to move away from skiing for the first winter of my life( I have been living near skiing since i was 3). I got a week in in january but i am fiending for some pow!

How about some skiing porn for all of us flatlanders?

They should have the ICMAG smoke and ski cup somewhere in the world some day! Too ban no mountains in the NL?

Aside from some heli riding we did up in BC a few years ago I'd have to agree that Silverton is one of the best resorts I've been to. Although the bathroom is just an outhouse that smelled of death. We had great conditions 36 inches of fresh powder and less than 50 people the day we arrived. There are some wicked features at Silverton. We got alot of footage of dropping the 35 foot cliff thats just yards away from the drop in into ropeadope. The locals were super cool as well. I'll be back next year for sure.

Ahhhh yes brothers you can count me in on some skiing for sure! I just got me a new pair of K2's and some new Solamen boots as well! Man i love to get stoned on the chairlifts and every once in awhile just stop and look at the beautiful scenery and just get stoned there smoking on my bowl!

....I'm buying my pass this weekend, and a new board/bindings.

gettin' a pass even tho I plan to spend most of my off time hittin' the backcountry and we have our eyes on a cpl. sleds that my neighbor is gonna let go for cheap.

I'm sooooooo stoked for winter this year....even more than I have been in years past...
